I think that's pretty much where I am with it, it's an amazing blast of nostalgia and although dated I think the games (well, SA at least so far) generally stand up. I know people have mentioned their annoyance that the original games with fanmade mods was better, but tbh I would never have been arsed to mod the games so that doesn't really effect my judgement of it. Some of the bugs are glitches are atrocious though, I'd hope it will stop people from getting overexcited about stuff like this in the future but if it still happens after Cyberpunk I don't think anything will.
