Who was the other guy (one wering plaid) in the APA segment? I recognized O'Haire, but not him.

I think patches are done now that the game is released.

I can help out. I have downloaded the demo now. I want to test things out for a bit to get a feel of the game world, but I am more than happy to help out.
-
IIRC, reputation in TEW 2010 was meant to be 100% unless someone has done something (I'm assuming been busted with drugs, intentionally worked stiff, etc.). The help file should confirm if this is the same for 2013.
-
Things mostly look good, I can see where you are going. If things are still happening when I get TEW next year then I would be more than happy to help out. One thing I would caution you on is your use of reputation, resilience, and consistency. I haven't downloaded the demo for 2013 yet, but if they haven't changed since 2010, then they have some specific rules. Off the top of my head, most guys are around 85% consistency and most guys are at 80% resiliency (or vise versa). I'm not saying anything you said in your examples are wrong off these notes, just want to make sure.

This may answer your problem. #39: Talk Out Of Retirement New to the game is the ability to attempt to talk a worker out of their decision to retire. It will not always be successful of course (it is based on personality, current career situation, etc), and is limited to workers who have retired by choice, not through injury. So it only works if an active worker announces his retirement in game, not for a guy who is already retired.

The Blue Jays have rehired John Gibbons as their manager. The media likes the choice but a lot of fans are upset. I personally love the decision.

Wow ... I spent a lot of time playing Universe mode last year, more than I have for any other game. This looks good. I'll probably wait until some reviews come out, but looks like I'll be getting this.

WrestlingData.com is a pretty good website for results and rosters from the time period. Incomplete for smaller companies but good start base anyways.

I'm currently 4-8 in my first season as Seahawks coach. I began 0-4 before picking up two wins and went on another four game losing streak before picking up another two wins. Only two gaves have had more than seven points in difference, so I'm close. I'm throwing a lot less interceptions too.

Thanks!

I need a bit of help/explanation. I bought a couple of comics the other day (old Spider-Man ones) and really enjoyed them and I have loved pretty much every superhero movie released in the past few years, so I want to get a few comics. I want to get comics of the movies I really like, like Batman, Captain America, Spider-Man. So it seems perfect with this New 52 from DC that I won't be too far behind kind of thing. But there are like four Batman comics. And I think four Spider-Man ones too. Any help on which ones I should get?

Thanks for the help. I lost my next game 17-10, although I only threw two interceptions (one was on a hail mary with three seconds left in the second quarter). After I assumedly get fired at the end of the season, I'm going to try a career with whoever is the best team in the league and see how that goes.

The first thing I must say, the Seahawks are a team that aren't exactly a team that are going to be competitive against anyone in the NFL from the start. Secondly, I suggest you ramp down the difficulty to a more accomodating level and try starting from there. If it gets too easy then you make it harder again. There is no need banging your head into a wall whilst there is a door right next to it. I'm only on Pro (or whatever is the level above rookie). When I was on rookie, I was winning games 35-0 and 28-3. But I guess I am two overtime losses from being 4-4 instead of 2-6. And I admittedly know very little about football - especially NFL - so it's understandable why I'm losing. Half of my interceptions thrown are because I get so excited and forget to throw the ball away and instead throw straight into their defence. It's still a fun game. And I figured the Seahawks would be a good challenge for me. I wanted an average team or so.
-
I am frustratingly terrible at this game. I throw probably, on average, four interceptions per game. I am the Seahawks and started the season 0-4 before winning two straight (including beating the league leading 5-0 Patriots). I thought that was my turning point, but then I was murdered by the 49ers (six interceptions and three fumbles) and then an overtime loss to the 5-1 Lions. Aside from two games, though, I have only lost by seven points or less, so I'm at least close.

I may be heading to Phoenix for the October 12th-14th weekend and I see the Suns have a Pre Season game on the 12th. Would that game sell out? We are flying in on the 12th and depending on what time our flights get in I may be able to catch the Suns game that night. But I also don't want to commit to it just incase our flights are delayed or whatever.

I like the creative way of getting Jericho's name in there. "Chris Jay Rick Ho!"

I wish I could remember the whole "glitch" that happened on my game, similar to the Commentary Placeholder Here one. They both happened during my Cena vs. Truth main event on Raw in universe. Cena had me (R-Truth) pinned and I kicked out. A random, creepy voice says "You have to inflict more damage to win the match." A little while later, another, different quote was said. Was pretty funny .. to me, anyway.

I just had an awesome main event on Smackdown, Miz (me) vs. Undertaker. This match lasted over fifteen minutes (considering I rarely go above five minutes, this was incredible). We both got Signatures right around the same time, so 'Taker hits me with a Last Ride and Tombstone, but I luckily kick out (I'm generally not good at kicking out, so that was exciting in itself). By now, I lost my signature and I go for the Skull Crushing Finale, but 'Taker reverses it into a Tombstone, but my feet are in the ropes. He beats the shit out of me for a bit and then hits a Last Ride, but I use a Ring Escape and leave. He chases after me, and Miz quits running because he is dead. Taker easily hits a third Tombstone of the match, this time onto the floor. I forget what happens next, but somehow I gain control of the match and hit Miz signature DDT and then Scull Crushing Finale, but 'Taker does his comeback, so he gets up immediately. He ends up locking on the Gogoplata, but I break it up, just barely. I hit another Skull Crushing Finale, but he kicks out at two! He locks on the abdominal stretch, and I nearly tap but don't. He quickly hits the Last Ride and Tombstone for the win ... So that was a long write up, but short story --> 2 last rides, 1 gogoplata, 4 tombstones (one on the floor), while he took to signature DDTs and two skull crushing finales. awesome match!

Finally got to my first WrestleMania, which was a little disappointing. It was a few days ago so I don't remember all the results, but Otunga & McGillicutty made their first tag team title defence. World champion Mark Henry faced Intercontinental champion Wade Barrett for the World Title and afterwards was attacked by the debuting Stone Cold (even though Austin was in the Rumble and last eliminated by Sheamus.) The semi main event was Big Show vs. HHH vs. Rey Mysterio in a triple threat Hell in a Cell, in what was Big Show's first appearance since the first Raw of January. Henry then comes out and attacks Sheamus before his match with John Cena. Cena beats the shit out of me as Sheamus and I lose via submission. Next night on Raw, I get three remarkable matches and one draft match, which Alberto Del Rio gets drafted to Smackdown. I'm playing all of the Smackdown characters in hopes of evening up the brands a bit (after Del Rio, it's 26-22 for Raw in number of superstars).
