The one thing I can say about Eclipse is that it's the best of the Twilight movies. Which isn't saying much.

But unlike you stok, I haven't really been paying attention to Joe Cole until this year. So it's all new to me. Suarez sets up Glen Johnson and it is 2-1. EDIT: 3-1. *Sigh*

Today is not going well. Cole might as well not be on the pitch, Gerrard has now entered 'Captain Fantastic' mode where he will look to take shots and make runs, and probably not pass the ball. Which is all he's done all day (which is owed much to West Ham). Wilson is nervous looking. We've lost two of our better players to injury during the game. Plus, the referee is having a terrible day. West Ham have played well too, but Liverpool seem to be suffering a Hodgson style away day.

An easy counter people making 'bet you miss Hodgson now, eh?' jokes is that it's an away game. This scoreline is his fault.

I started watching Quest of the Delta Knights after Cave Dwellers but fell asleep. It was 2am by the time I started watching it. I will pick up the watching tonight. I've decided to go through this list in my (admittedly nightly) MST3k viewing.

As indicated I did watch Cave Dwellers last night. I think the opening host segment is probably my favorite of the Joel era. Mainly because of TV's Frank, Tom Servo's tiny fez (which he seems to wear for the whole episode for no reason?) and robot arm wrestling.

I was watching Twin Peaks, but now I think I want to watch Cave Dwellers. Also huzzah for an MST thread!

I'm currently having problems with my board. Raft of injuries as I mentioned above have resulted in them thinking that I'm doing a poor job, despite being 4th MLS Eastern Conference and 8th on the play off table, a fit squad and a few wins from being higher up the table. I figure they're going to give me the sack.

So, neither of my goalkeepers are available. So I have to play midfielder/striker Ryan Pore in goal!

Liverpool may have brought Raheem Sterling to Prague, but he didn't make the bench. I guess Kenny didn't want to put too much pressure on him.

I noticed something watching this weeks Californication. Rob Lowe's goatee looks so incredibly fake. Although he does tend to come out with some insane but wonderful lines.

I saw Birmingham and Aston Villa get into the Champions League. Only for Birmingham to get relegated the next season!

Reading up on it on wiki my understanding is that the rule had been if the winning CL team didn't qualify for the competition the national FA could decided to give the winners, in this case Liverpool, the fourth spot instead of Everton. The FA had previously had said in 2003/4 that if Arsenal or Cheslea won the Champions League they would get the fourth spot. But then decided that from then on only the top four teams would get the spot but when Liverpool ended up winning the Champions League that came back to bite them. So really, the English FA made a bit of a cock and UEFA had to change the rules accordingly. Which is the way it should be, if you win the competition, you should be qualified for the competition the next year. That was historically how it worked (which is why if you search through old European Cup and early Champions League seasons you'll see occasions when two clubs from the same league competed ie. Liverpool and Nottingham Forrest who actually played each other in the 78/79 European Cup).

I downloaded some kits, and then figured out how to edit the config.xml file to make my NY Cosmos side have kits and logos! Wonderful!

Interesting, Arcade Fire are alright. What little I have ever heard of them. I had no idea that they were so unknown.

Prince of Space certainly got a better name than 'Space Chief'. Those kids clearly spent more time working on wearing tiny pants and less time thinking of a better name for their superhero. Lazerblast is a fun film, especially because Eddie Diesen is in it! And if I remember, at one point he's even doing some bullying! I think my favorite moment in MST3k is when they react to El Santo's first on screen appearance in Samson vs The Vampire Women.
