Thinking about Minor League Football again - wouldn't the NFL be better allowing the NCAA to build up the player's hypes and then the guys don't make the cuts or whatever then can get optioned to the "minors" - there's got to be plenty of guys that have some star power in certain markets after playing college ball that could play for a minor league affiliate team. Those guys could basically act as the practice squad then and if a team has an injury they can call them up.

Would 18 year old players be good enough to make an NFL team though? Or do you mean the NFL will make it's own type of Minor League?

I guess it depends on the exact situation but it'd end up being a little bit of Column A/a little bit of Column B for me. I'd probably end up supporting both teams to some extent.

Funny you should ask! Many people describe it as a mix of Crusader Kings and Total War. It has definitely has elements of both games to it. Its less intense than Crusader Kings but has more RP elements than Total War. Its battles aren't as good as Total War but they are more controllable than Crusader Kings. A nice mix of each!

Yeah I would wait for another sale, I debated right up until the sale deadline because thats the way I am lmao. But yeah, I'd recommend it!

Picked up Knights of Honor 2 the other day on a 50% off sale. Had really enjoyed the original and put hours into that one. So far I am really enjoying the sequel - its similar enough that I dont feel lost really but improved and different enough to make the jump from the 20+ year old original haha. Currently playing a save in the early era (1100s ish) as Ulster. Its been a lot of fun, interactions with the other Irish guys, the Scots, the English, the Welsh, and the Bretons has made for some fun drama, lots of intrigue, and a lot of enjoyment! I am the last remaining Irish faction and control Ulster, Dublin, and Galway. I've also conquered Edinburgh and Aberdeen. The Welsh control Cork and I am building up to change that and reunite the island (Brother!) but we are both buds with England so gotta manage that.

Barbie was so so so so so so so good! Took Mrs. Krabby, Lil Krabby, and my cousin's littlest to see it and it was so much fun but so dang thoughtful as well

Feels like there were or are way too many cooks (too many cooks!) in the kitchen for the game's development and no clear path or vision. Lots of "This would be cool!" or "Let's be like the N64!" but no idea of what they actually wanted in the final product.

Somewhat relevant: I was reading about Trey Lance the other day and the person brought up a Harbaugh quote about basically you don't know how good a QB will be until they are there. He said that in reference to Brock Purdy being Mr. Irrelevant but the article was using that to show the juxtaposition between lance getting uncomfortably close to being considered a bust while Purdy came in and had immediate success.
