Broncos get a highly sought after, SB winning coach in Sean Payton Texans score the architect of one of the NFL's premiere defenses in Demeco Ryans Panthers snag the recently fired, likely not going to get a HC job again guy in Frank Reich Aging like milk in the Carolina sun...
-
Yasssss @probablyoliver Doki-Doki Literature Club is a surreal and sublime experience hahaha
-
Million times better than Frank "I got fired mid-season" Reich
-
As in recently-fired-replaced-with-Jeff-Saturday Frank Reich? LOL what a forward thinking organization there in Carolina! I get that his record isn't all that bad really but I would feel so uninspired as a fan

I was a pre-order guy for Humankind. I loved Endless Space and this was described as their Magnum Opus so I was sold from that alone. I have liked the game but not totally loved it. I like most of the mechanics such as the changing cultures, the independent peoples, and the way military battles are done. I think what is hanstringing my enjoyment of it is I feel like the game lacks character. In Civ 6 I felt as if different towns and regions ended up having their own character, the civic cards gave government character, and the religious aspect feels much more fleshed out than Humankind. One of my favorite things to do in Civ is to immerse myself in imagining what life in my country/empire/etc. is like and I dont feel likeI have been able to do that as much in Humankind. I still plan on getting the DLC and want to see what else they have planned for the game of course.

What Did You Watch Today? 2023 edition
Krabby replied to Mx. Canadian Destroyer's topic in Movies & TV
We watched X over the weekend and really enjoyed it, looking forward to checking out Pearl sometime and then MaXXXine whenever that comes out. Mrs. Krabby also had Terrifier 2 recommended to her so we watched the first Terrifier and it started out ok but was a really weak movie overall in both of our opinions. Still plan to watch the sequel based on the recommendation. Also started watching White Lotus too -

Yeah I saw some Vikings blogs and such saying we could be a dark horse landing spot for Lamar and, while don't get me wrong that'd be amazing, it's not ever going to happen

THE REGLUAR SEASON IS OVER! (yeah yeah yeah, I know it was last week or whatever - BEAR WITH ME). After a grueling 18 weeks featuring all sorts of drama - we have a new PICKEMS CHAMPION: @Your Mom Congratulations Srar! DO THE PICKEMS SHUFFLE! Here's the final standings from the 2022 season: PLAYER TOTAL POINTS Your Mom 170 MAXX 168 Busch 167 Jake O. Rhodes 159 Damshow 154 LL! 153 livid 149 Cut2theKwik 147 DFF 137 Krabby 123 A very narrow margin of victory with the season coming down to the Lions versus The Rodgersers and Detroit pulled out the Big W to deny the Packers a playoff spot and seal Your Mom's first place finish! Here's how the final week looked: A shiny silver medal to @Maxx and the bronze heading to New York and @Justin Buschlander! Good ol @jrhodes finishes just outside the top 3 in 4th place. @damhausen narrowly snags 5th place away from @LL! in 6th (whose 2 0 point weeks kept from a repeat top 3 performance as he is acutely aware of). @livid comes in 7th, followed closely by @Cut2theKwik in 8th. @DFF stayed out of last place with a 9th place finish. And who finished last? Me of course! Just because I like you all so much! (We'll go with that hahaha) Thanks again to all y'all for playing again, looking for ward to next year!

Oh yeah, I mean they are a good team but their record definitely did not reflect their skill level. That made for a fun but entirely stressful season haha. I'm not surprised either - we have made some very questionable play calls and our defense has not been very threatening (bye bye Donatell!) I'm hating the narrative though that the Giants "exposed" the Vikings as pretenders. No one was pretending first of all. Second of all, 31-24 is hardly an exposure and we weren't that far off from tying or winning the game. The Giants are a good team and (mostly) deserved the win but its not like they pulled the veil down that these Vikings were the 1972 Dolphins or anything.

More of Retro Goal and Three Kingdoms Total War for me!

Sucks for Huntley, I am sure he's gonna feel like crap about that fumble business

How quickly does Lamar's kneel heal if they beat the Bengals?

Is this getting to be like a Kawhi Leonard situation?
