  1. If I were Penn, and I saw that picture...I would stay home on Saturday!!! His brother kinda looks like Chris Jericho in the face a little. Anyway.... Can't afford the show this weekend, but I'll be rooting my ass off for BJ.
  2. The invite you sent me has revealed the problem. The password: welterweight is too long. It is cutting it off, thus making the new password welterweig But, myself and my team Pitbulls is in!
  3. I have tried: welterweight WELTERWEIGHT Welterweight Welter Weight Still saying the password is incorrect.
  4. 1) Smokey and The Bandit 2) The Blues Brothers 3) Spaceballs 4) Groundhog Day 5) Monty Python and The Holy Grail 6) Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back 7) Animal House 8) Office Space 9) Saved! 10) Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle
  5. Firstly, gonna back Verbal Puke up on the Dick Dale love. As for the others I like that not many others do: Ugly Kid Joe New American Shame Richard Cheese and Lounge Against The Machine Ministry Skid Row (they used to be loved not anymore) Gwar (yeah, the music is terrible, but the live show is fucking great) L7 Babes in Toyland Folk Implosion I'm sure there are others, but those come to mind immediately.
  6. Let me second the earlier recommendation of "The Walking Dead" I am 28 now, and have been reading comics since I was 6......Walking Dead is by far the best title I have ever read. The first 20 issues are available in Trade Paperback (5 issues each, 10 bucks each) and you should be able to get everything after that in single prints still. If you like Zombies Sara.....you'll love it.
  7. I figure the best Mara info your going to get is going to be in the Graphic Novel "By The Emperor's Hand" I will also second the recomendation for AC Crispins Han Solo trilogy, as they probably rank as my favorite Star Wars books ever. The Thrawn trilogy is of course just as good as everyone says they are, though personally I was not a big fan of the two follow-up books. Tatooine Ghost was an excellent story, that really helped to combine the Prequel era with the current era. The Boba Fett trilogy mentioned earlier is also a fun read, and tells the story of his escape from the Sarlaac amongst other things. New Jedi Order is great stuff, and the whole series is definitely worth reading, although I will admit that some of the books tend to seem like filler, when you want resolution. It may not be so bad now that all of them are out, but when you were waiting for the next one, it was killer. The Swarm War trilogy that followed the NJO was fairly good as well, including Luke finding out more about his parents. As for the new book "Betrayal", I have read it, I enjoyed it, but due to my liking of certain characters, I'm not entirely sure I like where it is headed!! My biggest advice to anyone reading Star Wars books is this.........Stay the Fuck away from the Lando Calrissian trilogy....boring, boring, boring.
  8. My best guess goes back to earlier in the episode. When she found Desmond at the stadium (where he met Jack), she said that she had the ability to find anyone. (I am guessing through money and her fathers "power") Her last name is Widmore, and that name has popped up on some of the Dharma webstites put up by the people from the show. Maybe, she got the information as to where Desmond ended up from files her father had, but they didn't specify the exact location of the island. Other files may have talked about the magnetic stuff, so she knew to watch our for ridiculously high magnetic activity in order to find the location. The thing that really confuses me is the statue with four toes.....No Fucking Clue there!!
  9. Good PPV....although I am Severely disappointed at Sylvia winning. He got fucking rocked, and while he did come back from that, the shot that took Andrei down was IMO pure luck. He caught him in the neck. Ortiz/Griffin was really close, I hoestly thought they would call it a draw. Tanner looked good tonight. Stephan was on commentary for the Forrest match and was really pushing Girffin/Bonnar 2. With Tito possibly hurt and out of the Shamrock fight...... Arlovski/Slyvia 3 and Griffin/Bonnar 2 would make a hell of a replacement card!!!
  10. I actually enjoyed this movie far more than anything else I've seen for the past few years (barring Walk the Line), so much so I have intentions of seeing it again. I have not yet read the Graphic Novel, but I plan too soon.
  11. Wow....Just Wow.... The silent clock was damn near heartbreaking. So the question is, who dies next week?? Kim's man is the obvious choice, but I don't think they'll go that route. My money is on Chloe.....
  12. Interesting..... Could they be thinking in EWR terms when it comes to the main event?? Frankling/Loiseau seen as a let down, due to the crowd still being pumped from Penn/GSP, so they toss Swick in the middle?
  13. I'm relatively new to the MMA game, and I don't feel comfortable making predictions on most of these fights. But, I have seen nearly all of Franklin and Loiseau's UFC work, and I really think "The Crow" is going to pull this one off. I knew I should have bought this show!!!
  14. Having grown up in the same West Virginia town where he was born, and even acting on the same stage he once acted for my High School Drama class.... RIP Mr. Knotts.
  15. Enjoyed the hell out of the Bud Shoot Out on Sunday, good racing.... Glad to see Jeff Burton get the pole, that team needs a break. Bobby Labonte and Petty Enterprises seems to be a good match...it'll be nice to see the 43 back in victory lane. My boy, Elliot Sadler has a good shot at the Cup this year.... Sadly, my other favorite, Sterling Marlin looks like he may be in for another long year. Quite impressed with Denny Hamlin so far. Still wish Kurt Busch would hit the wall more often.
  16. I turned on part one......and I want to Vomit!!! He just called a Rosey figure Rocco Rock.. I know alot of people dislike the Public Enemy.....but Ted Petty deserves better than being compared to Rosey!!!
  17. The ring magically pops into the picture after the Hardcore match. For the love of god....watch the whole thing.... Toward the end of the Rumble, he goes to a "word from the sponsors" and does the commercial himself. Let's just say...if this thing spreads.....Star Wars Kid might get a run for his money.
  18. It was me who ran World of Wrestling Figures...and I realize that makes me quite the dork.. but this takes the cake!!!! RWF Royal Rumble
  19. The 9 second fight your missing is: Oleg Taktarov v.s. Anthony Macias from UFC 8, but that ended in a submission. Here...maybe this will help.... Sherdog List
  20. Is it just me, or did UFC screw Duane Ludwig out of the quickest KO record? I know the old one was Don Frye with an 8 second KO, but I swear that clock read 4:56 when Goulet dropped. Which means 4 seconds, but they called it 11.... Maybe they just didn't want a Lightweight with the record, but I have NO clue how they got 11 seconds out of that.
  21. Wow...that's all I can say so far....WOW!!! :::::SPOILERS AHEAD:::::: I swear to god....if Tony doesn't survive...I am gonna be pissed!!!!
  22. I have been watching a ton of UFC lately, and I really think that Loiseau is going to beat Franklin. Those elbows of his are just so freaking dangerous. I fully agree that it is way too early for Griffin to be fighting Ortiz. While I dislike Ortiz, I think he will dispatch Forrest handily, and that's not a good thing since UFC is trying to build Griffin up like the golden boy of the company. Lastly, I can not wait for Arlovski v.s. Mir. The big problem is, that if Arlovski decimates Mir like he has everyone else....who the hell is left for him to fight in UFC? Andrei is my favorite fighter these days, and while I know fights against CroCop and Fedor would be amazing...I wouldn't get to see them...so I really hope UFC can pull in some more Heavyweight Talent.
