  1. While I will write my thoughts about the entire movie a bit later, I thought I'd mention this. Despite Bane's tyranny over Gotham, I thought it was clear Wayne flew to or near Gotham to get in. After Wayne gets back and reunited with Fox, they go to the Bat and Fox asks if he (Wayne) flew okay, to which Wayne nods and says yeah. How this was undetected by Bane is another story I guess. But it seems clear he flew.
  2. I disagree with this. I don't feel House even fits this thread. House started off just pretty well and got better and better with each season after that (yes, I include the unique events of Season 5). Until Season 6. Season 6 started strong as all hell, then began the show's gradual descent which culminated in one of the most disappointing finales I can remember. House is almost the epitome of The Rise and Fall of a TV Series. Once it fell - even though it was a gradual fall - it never really recovered. I couldn't disagree more (obviously). Season 5 was a trainwreck.
  3. House MD was great for the 1st three seasons, lost a little steam with all the new characters in the season 4 (but was still solid), had a trainwreck of season 5 before a great rebound in season 6.
  4. The East maybe. Gotta feel for Chicago. While they still might survive the Sixers, Boston or Atlanta should dispose of them.

  6. I assume if you pull this off (and I hope you do), this would work for all .dat files, not just wrestler.dat?
  7. I honestly think the best thing for the Knicks would be to unload Carmelo Anthony. Jeremy Lin is obviously on the high side of what he is capable of right now, but 17-8 with 48% shooting shouldn't be out of the question. He's an excellent pick and roll guard, and well, Amare Stoudemire is one of the best pick and roll power forwards. Trading Anthony would probably net the best return, getting back perhaps a good defensive SF, another good big and a pick or two from somewhere. I'd have to mess with the ESPN trade machine to see.
  8. Being at MSG for the Knicks opener, it was insane! I might end up being wrong about Carmelo Anthony, which is fine by me. Too bad Celtic fans can point to the no Paul Pierce excuse though.
  9. If San Diego comes back in their game right now, I think they mess it up even further.
  10. No, since Oakland can also get in as a wildcard at 9-7. Here's an example. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/playoffscenario?algorithm=custom&15=00511000&16=04415014
  11. Mark Sanchez was one short pass away from being the 3rd QB ever to have 60 attempts in a game and not 300 yards passing.
  12. It's something when I am longing for the days of Chad Pennington.
  13. Who the fuck cares would be Caron Butler.
  14. I am not calling Tony Romo an elite QB by any means, but putting the blame majority on Romo for this game, a game that the Cowboys were offensively kicking ass and leading by 12 with 4-5 minutes to go, instead of the Cowboys defense that let up 511 yards all day and two scores within the last 3:41, you're evaluating the wrong thing. The Cowboys did not lose this game primarily because of Tony Romo.
  15. I guess Dallas blowing a 12 point lead in five minutes is all on Romo. He played a great game and put his team in excellent position to win the game. How about his kicker missing a game defining field goal in the final seconds (two games in a row)? I suppose that is on him too.
  16. Citing a source familiar with Brett Favre, ESPN Chicago reports that Favre "would listen" if the Bears contacted him about playing quarterback for the 7-5 team down the stretch. ESPN Chicago's Mike C. Wright makes it clear that the Bears haven't contacted Favre yet, and reports it's "highly doubtful" they will. However, a source told ESPN Chicago that Favre "has been working out and staying in shape." While coach Lovie Smith denies the Bears are interested in adding a quarterback, their pursuit of Kyle Orton suggests they feel they can do better at the position. Through two starts this season, Caleb Hanie is 29-of-60 (48.3%) for 387 yards, two touchdowns, and six interceptions. He's taken six sacks and fumbled once.
  17. Calendar Man always mentions the upcoming holiday, I think he just does something unique on each holiday.
  18. I haven't figured out how to take control of someone in a Rumble match =/ The server is still constantly down for me as well. I am able to get in a download of a quick CAW or two.
  19. Meh, I forgot to go see Calendar Man on Thanksgiving.
  20. Before this season, there wasn't much of a difference between Del Rio and Lewis for the past 8 years.
  21. I feel like Marvin Lewis is somewhere in that discussion.
  22. I have it for the PS3. I'd play against you (I'm probably worse than decent though), if the server wasn't always down.
  23. I finally have a glitch going on right now, I'm hoping it ends somehow... I am CM Punk vs. Undertaker in HIAC. I countered Snake Eyes, but Taker reacted weird, and just went to the center of the ring. Me (Punk) was stuck in the KOed in the corner animation, but slowly was moving across the ring. The ropes on the other side stopped me. We're both stuck here. Looks like I have to restart the match.
  24. The NBA and the Players Association have begun circulating memos to teams, players and agents outlining some of the specifics of the new proposed labor agreement that still must be ratified by the league’s owners and players. Among the specifics in the collective bargaining agreement: • Revenue split: The players will receive anywhere from 49 percent to 51 percent of basketball-related income based on revenue projections. The split is set on a base case of 50%, with the players receiving 60.5 percent of every incremental dollar beyond the targeted amount. More From Adrian Wojnarowski Committee could study NBA draft rule Nov 27, 2011 Owners, players reach handshake deal to end lockout Nov 26, 2011 • Maximum contract lengths: five years for Larry Bird rights players; four years for non-Bird players. • Maximum salary: A player finishing his rookie scale contract will be eligible to receive a maximum salary equal to 30 percent of the salary cap if he signs with his prior team and meets certain performance benchmarks: first, second or third team All-NBA two times; an All-Star starter two times; or a one-time MVP. • Annual salary increases: 7.5 percent for Bird players; and 4.5 percent for non-Bird players. • Midlevel exception: up to $5 million starting salary with four-year maximum contract length for teams that don’t exceed the luxury tax threshold by more than $4 million; teams that exceed the tax threshold by $4 million will be limited to using a $3 million midlevel exception with a three-year maximum contract. • New $2.5 million exception for teams below the salary cap to go over the cap. Those teams can’t use the midlevel or bi-annual exceptions. • No reduction in rookie scale or minimum salaries. • Player options are allowed for all players, similar to the previous collective bargaining agreement. • Extend-and-trade contracts similar to the one Carmelo Anthony(notes) received prior to his trade from the Denver Nuggets to the New York Knicks last season will continue to be permitted. • Escrow pool: Ten percent of player salaries will be held each year. • Teams now have three days to match offer sheets given to their own restricted free agents. • Minimum team salary increases to 85 percent of the salary cap in the first two years of the deal and 90 percent of the cap in the years thereafter. • Each team has one amnesty clause to use on a player currently under contract. The players’ salary will be removed from the team’s cap. From Yahoo.com.
