  1. What episode was it? I've love to see it, I only read the manga.

    Best OST Song?

"Beethoven's 9th Symphony" - A Clockwork Orange "Bang, Bang" - Kill Bill vol.1 "If I Only Had A Heart" and "Over The Rainbow" - The Wizard of Oz
  3. Movies that get worse with each viewing? I don't know if I can think of any. I usually love movies more and more with each viewing, especially the Back to the Future Trilogy. I've seen each film over 50 times and I can never get enough of them. Well, Titanic is one I can think of. I loved it the first time I saw it. Now when I watch it, I just see it as a decent movie not deserving of its praise. And even though I own them on DVD I can never get myself to rewatch any of the Lord of the Rings movies. They're great movies, but for me, they're not good for multiple viewings.
  4. The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy: 7.5/10 It was better than was I was expecting. And a lot of the scenes are very faithful to the book. I love the narration, it's hilarious. I liked all the characters but Marvin and Zaphod were the standouts to me. Shame "The Restaurant At The End of The Universe" was never made into a movie.
  5. Syd Barrett - "Love You" Pink Floyd - "Bike" The Beatles - "I Am The Walrus" Queen - "Fat Bottomed Girls" These songs always do a good job at cheering me up.
  6. A couple I can think of: Johnny Cash - Hurt Cyndi Lauper - Time After Time Bonnie Tyler - A Total Eclipse Of The Heart...... Edit: Meat Loaf - Objects in the Rear View Mirror...
  7. I don't watch many sitcoms. I occasionally watch 'Everybody Loves Raymond'. It's half decent, just not that funny. My favorites are Seinfeld, Friends, Roseanne, and Drew Carey Show (even though the later two go downhill in the final seasons). The final season or two of Drew Carey pissed me off. Drew should have ended up with Kate. That always annoyed me. And I hate the new one they brought it, Kelly. Roseanne was sheer excellence from Seasons 3-7. The final season was crap, though in my opinion the series finale made up for it. Gotta love the "What The Fuck" ending. For recent comedy shows, I occasionally watch My Name Is Earl and The Office. They're both enjoyable.
  8. The Beatles - Let It Be: 8/10 If you're looking for a documentary about The Beatles, don't watch this. This movie is basically 60 minutes in a recording studio, and then the 20 minute rooftop scene. But it's pretty damn enjoyable. This is definitely a movie I'm gonna watch again and again.
  9. I thought 'Tainted Love' was originally Soft Cell's song. I thought 'Another Girl, Another Planet' was originally Blink 182's song. I thought 'Barbara Ann' was originally The Beach Boys' song.
  10. In 74 episodes, Futurama might have had 2 or 3 poor ones at most. The episodes "Godfellas" (the one CSAMH just mentioned above), "The Farnsworth Parabox", "Roswell That Ends Well", "The Spanish Fry", and "Jurassic Bark" alone make Futurama the greatest animated comedy series. And Beavis and Butthead is pretty good. Much better than King of the Hill.
  11. Sorry if it's been mentioned, but is there a chance of Harley Quinn being in the movie? And even though I never cared for Batman Begins, I'm still anticipating this movie cause of my love for The Joker.
  12. 'The Host' (2006/2007): 8/10 Never seeing a Korean film before (at least I don't think I have), I didn't know what to expect going into this. But it was better than I thought it'd be. Very good CGI, the creature looked quite impressive. It was dark yet didn't take itself too seriously; I loved the comedic parts. The scene early on where the creature jumps on land for the first time was amazing, as well as the 10 minutes that followed. Best horror film I've seen so far this year. Stephen King's The Stand (Part 1): 8/10 (I know it's technically a 'miniseries'. But to me, a 'miniseries' is just a long movie made for television. It was even shot as a movie and has no credits after individual parts.) Anyway, I thought it was very enjoyable. I'm pleased as to how faithful it was to my favorite novel. I can't wait to watch Parts 2-4.
  13. The Simpsons has sweet, charming, loveable characters. Everyone on Family Guy is annoying as fuck. Especially Stewey and Peter. The Simpsons went downhill around Seasons 11-12. Family Guy went downhill after Season 2. The Simpsons has/had great writing. Family Guy relies too much on "random gags". Most of which are too long are unfunny.
  14. Just finished book seven that time. Overall, it was an enjoyable series. The first 3 books I didn't care for. Goblet and Order were both great books. Half-Blood Prince was good, but a letdown. Deathly Hallows was pretty good. My personal rankings: Goblet of Fire: 8/10 Order of the Phoenix: 8/10 Deathly Hallows: 7.5/10 Half-Blood Prince: 7/10 Chamber of Secrets: 6/10 Philosopher's Stone: 5.5/10 Prisoner of Azkaban: 5/10 It was worth reading the mediocrity of the first 3 books to get to the final 4.
  15. I've seen it twice in theater now, loved it just as much the second time around. Can't wait for the DVD to come out. The audio commentary will be gold.
  16. The Simpsons Movie: 9/10 Surpassed my expectations. As good as any Season 1-9 episode. Hilarious all throughout, many laugh-out-loud moments, a solid plot, and AMAZING acting by the entire cast, especially Yeardly Smith.
  17. I should be seeing the movie Friday or Saturday. I can't wait. Unlike most people, I actually find newer episodes of The Simpsons decent and still pretty funny at times. Though by checking Wikipedia and IMDB, I found out the movie has the writers that worked on the first 8-10 seasons (in fact, it has all my favorite writers with the exception of David Cohen). So I'm expecting a quality movie this weekend.
  18. Magus, Yoshi, Vivi = Sweetness Though I'm afraid I may hate the Top 10 as all my favorite characters are in the Top 20-40. Characters like Cloud, Sephiroth, Link and Mario will most likely dominate the list, and I really don't care for any of those characters.
  19. As a fan of the Drew Carey Show and the American "Whose Line..." , I'm with love with the idea. With him as host, I may watch the show on a regular basis. As long as I get to see more of Drew Carey on television, I'm a happy person.
  20. Ken is my third favorite Street Fighter character (behind Dhalsim and Akuma), glad to see him on the list. Hope he'd make it higher up though, considering that I'm not expecting to see Dhalsim or Akuma on the list. Mega Man is one I have mixed reactions from. I HATE the Mega Man games, yet I LOVE the Mega Man X games. Still a badass character though, though I don't see how he beat Zero. Lui Kang AND Scorpion beat Sub-Zero. What an outrage. Glad Toad it made it. He was always my favorite character in SMB2.
  21. I finished the book earlier than expected, so took the opportunity to catch it in theater. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: 7.5/10 A very good movie, highly enjoyable. The pacing was well done. There are several scenes I was disappointed to see cut (like Harry and Cho at Hogsmeade), but that was only a minor fault. I rank this movie above Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber, but below Azkaban and Goblet.
  22. .....Scorpion beat Sub-Zero.....?..... This.List.Fails. My only hope is that Crono or Magus score high on the list.
  23. Not to sound whiny, but how come they couldn't have a 2.5 - 3 hour movie for Order of the Phoenix? And screw the bullshit excuse like "no one wants to sit in a theater for 3 hours". Look at Titanic and Lord of the Rings, length didn't effect how much money they made. I just finished the book and I thought it was great, my 2nd favorite in the series (just behind Goblet). I may see the movie tomorrow, thought I'm kind of worried as to what has been cut out.
