The collector ship is giving me a headache on Insanity. I finally get past the bit with the platforms and am like "phew", then about two minutes later a Praetorian pops up and keeps kicking my arse.

So I was thinking of picking this game up, since I traded in MW2 a couple of months ago after I got bored of it. However, my friends are lame and none of them own it, is the multiplayer still fun when you're playing with randomers?

So you can, gracias! Decided to make an all-English team now and managed to pick up gold Ross Turnbull and Jonathan Greening cards for next to nothing. Definitely echo what the above posts said.

So I'm a flid and accidentally sent all of my gold players from my two free packs to the club thing, not my squad. Oh well. I ended up with about five South Koreans so I went the whole hog and my entire starting XI is now South Korean. Shame you can't change your team name, although I can't think of anything that isn't racist anyway.

Not really, I traded them both in recently. Enjoyed Borderlands but didn't love MW2 as much as most people it seems.

Finished Mass Effect 2 the other day, awesome game. Started a new game on Insanity but it's kicking my arse so I might leave it for a bit.

Some tricky games for England there. Switzerland and Bulgaria will be very stern opposition. Is it first place goes through + playoffs, or top two? I think we have enough quality to win the group but it'll be hard, only Wales and Montenegro can be considered easy games.

Only in the past couple of years I'd say. In the PS2 years it wasn't even a contest, PES was light years ahead of Fifa. But this gen Fifa has improved a great deal, whereas Konami have stood still. I used to love PES but I bought last year's and just hated everything about it. Neither game is perfect but Fifa has been improving year on year while PES is just the exact same game with the exact same faults it had two or three years ago. Got to echo the Sensi love though. I still play the 96/97 version off Xbox Live Arcade. Awesome.

Marco Gabbiadini A class above the entire division when he played for us. Top scorer in the league in both seasons with 30+ goals. Pawel Abbott Made of glass. On obscene wages (along with most of the team) which is why we went into admin again. But fuck me, what a player. If he'd have stayed fit during his time here we would have gone up, no bother. Rob Purdie Jack of all trades. Must have played in every position except in goal during his time with us. Good player as well and a brilliant penalty taker. Craig Liddle Darlo legend. Rock solid centre back who stayed with us despite being far, far better than anyone else in the team.

Don't listen to much radio, the only station I listen to with any sort of regularity is Absolute Radio. Usually listen to the Iain Lee and Frank Skinner shows, the latter mainly on podcast because you know, fuck getting up at 8am on a Saturday morning.

Glad Sunderland got included, they're going to use Darlo's ground as a training pitch and stuff (if it still exists in 2018 ) I understand why MK got chosen, but it's still a shame every time that horrible franchise gets rewarded with something.

Yeah I heard that if the person quits, your subsequent 3-0 win doesn't count towards the achievement.

I beat the story on Hardened, and am not looking forward to playing through on Veteran at all. The previously mentioned protecting the modem bit took me forever as it was, I'm never going to be able to do it again. Online multiplayer is lots of fun as always. My only complaint is that some of the maps are just too big. I prefer the Rust level, that's absolutely tiny.

Why do they deserve to be whacked straight into League Two though? They can start at the very bottom of the English pyramid if they're serious about joining our league. Also Phil Gartside is a fucking clown. He only wants a closed shop Premier League system because he knows his team are always capable of getting relegated and losing their precious TV money.

Managed to get all the achievements, will probably go back and start playing with the storyline editor, which I haven't really explored yet.

Playing as Boro, I'm leaking goals like crazy. At home to Blackpool I was 3-1 up, ended up losing 4-3 by conceding three (!) penalties in the second half. Next game at home to Cardiff, I'm 3-0 up after 30 mins, full time score 3-3. Driving me mad!

One of the secret achievements this year is to quit an online ranked match five times, which is pretty ridiculous. It's worth 0GS mind you. Also someone start an EWB league/club for 360
