  3. I honestly cannot see any argument against Matt Hughes in an all-time MMA HoF.
  4. Yeah, even though our anthem is shit. Would ensure we sing the second verse no one knows, too.
  5. On another note, damn the UFC keep on delivering with some awesome shows. A lot of "can't miss" stuff to come, too.
  6. Here's a chance to catch you up: I reckon most of it is pretty funny, tbh.
  7. See I disagree. Alves can be ranked wherever he likes, but he's not fought for a year, when he did fight he offered very little against GSP and, assuming he beats Fitch tomorrow, he does it after missing weight. I don't think he totally deserves his shot should he get one. Hell, Fitch at the very least has won four five fights since fighting GSP last so he's done something to deserve another crack. You've got to find a happy medium between whatever the rankings apparently are and giving people fights they want to see. I'd much rather see the winner of Kampmann/Shields get a title shot than Alves because at the very least it is something different. On the Shields point, it isn't all that different to Bellfort getting a shot at Anderson off the back of a catchweight bout IMO.
  8. Cook is a real worry for England these days. He's all over the shop at the crease and knicking everything, not to mention he's a horrible batsman to watch.
  9. I don't get why they made Alves/Fitch for a title shot. Yeah OK, if Fitch wins he probably deserves another crack at GSP/Koscheck (but I doubt he'll do a whole lot better assuming it is against the former), but Alves? The guy hasn't fought since UFC 100 where he was picked apart and has done sweet fuck all to deserve another shot in my books.
  10. Australian Rules Football first, then cricket, tennis, MMA and association football. I will watch most sports - just not basketball or baseball.
  11. I remember nothing about how to play the first game or any characters or story in it except "Goliath Online"!
  12. Jeez, 121 shaping up as an absolute balltearer of an event. After getting a few duds late last year the fans are really being paid back well. Outside of UFC 120 there's some exciting months ahead. Also, I thought Diego Sanchez was planning a return to 155 after losing to Hathaway?
  13. Hadn't heard that before, thanks. It's pretty cool. Scandinavians do some really awesome stuff. Donkeyboy is a pretty similar band to Alphabeat and tore up the Norwegian charts for aaaages with "Ambitions": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_WQ6u9os50 Pretty much loving them at the moment, and would highly recommend "Stereolife" and "Somehow".
  14. Yeah don't mind Alphabeat at all. Like "Go-Go" the best: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuG6Ztw5nhE
  15. I find it pretty much impossible to split the two. I'd rank Murali as a better bowler but Warne as a better cricketer if that makes sense. I just think the weight of Murali's achievements are too difficult to ignore to be able to rank Warne ahead of him. He's been consistent right throughout his career and took bundles of wickets in an attack that was essentially him and Chaminda Vaas for a decade. Even without the wickets against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe (bearing in mind the latter had some pretty good batsmen going around in the late 1990s), his record is outstanding. Great achievement from one of the best bowlers I've ever seen. Kinda disappointed he didn't finish on 799 which would have had a nice Bradman-esque feel about it.
  16. It isn't normally my type of music, but there's something about this song that really has me hooked. I have no idea what it is? The blonde kid on the left freaks me out a bit.
  17. Yep, it is great matchmaking. They'll do huge buys with the Lesnar effect, and they've produced a really entertaining card in the process.
  18. Another huge win for George. Looked really good apart from the last five seconds of the fight which was heart-in-mouth stuff. Also so happy to see Gerald Harris starting to really get a good run on. Was disappointed for him when he lost to Amir on TUF (as much as I like Amir), and he's an absolute beast with those slams. Bonnar-Soszynski was pretty damn entertain it has to be said. I can't help but thinking Soszynski got caught in the moment and fought a fight he probably wouldn't have wanted to in hindsight. Still, entertaining stuff and I have got a soft spot for Bonnar so I'm happy.
  19. Pretty sure it was him that beat Bogdanovich something like 24-22 in the third in qualifying, too. Amazing dive there has to be said. Just needs to get a look in on Isner's serve.
  20. It's getting close, and then whichever poor bastard wins would theoretically have to come back and play his next round match later in the day. It looks like they actually will have to. de Bakker vs. whoever is scheduled last tomorrow. That being said, if Isner wins I reckon de Bakker will go through by walkover. The guy can barely walk now, without even thinking about how stiff he'll be tomorrow.
  21. I think I'm on a delayed telecast. Deuce at 2-2 in the first here?
