  1. I have the 360 chatpad thingy, which is a godsend for things like this. Oh and a big 'ugh' because I just read that you can rate your own creations online... thus why all the crappy ones seem to have 5 stars I guess.
  2. So I got this on Friday, but only got to play today and it's damn well worth the wait. It's the biggest improvement in one year I think they're ever had. So many new moves/re-animated moves and other little things you can do during matches that are new make the actual matches feel like a new game. There's probably more new wrestlers in this years than there have been for a while, and the superstar threads mode is good fun, especially for someone like myself who likes things to be up to date. The rumble and scramble matches are both great fun too. Started Brand Warfare RTWM, almost at No Way Out. Just been playing exhibition matches though mostly. I'm itching to have a go with the story designer, but don't really know where to start. Has anyone here made anything with it yet? I wanna see an example of something half decent - the ones I tried downloading were certainly not deserving of the 5 stars they had
  3. Another DLC character anounced Nice, a fun video there with a few photos too. She looks good I must say, always was a favorite character of mine. DLC is looking good so far with Carnage too, who from what I can tell has enough original moves not to be a clone of either Spider-Man or Venom.
  4. That is simply amazing, in oh so many ways.
  5. I was going to buy this anyway as I always do, but this is getting better and better. The story maker and the 'superstar threads' along with the community were all great additions. I love that the Scramble match has been added, should be good fun. Also I'm sure its been mentioned that the Rumble match has been revamped so that should be cool. The RTWM's look good. Just about everything they missed from last time, heels, a Diva, a CAW story and whatever this 'Brand Wars' may be, surely can't be bad. Colour me hyped.
  6. If anyone's interested here is a link to some guys photobucket with pictures of all the alternate costumes which have been revealed to date (only available through the official site if you pre-order I think). He's also got pics of all the NPC's which have been revealed on IGN. Edit: Forgot to actually post the link - Duh! Here You Go
  7. Ah thats alright then. Honestly I prefer unlocking them as I go along anyway - feels more rewarding to me.
  8. Psylocke! always a favourite of mine. Only on wii though? Lame. I was in gamestation today and they say if you pre-order with them you get Thor? The hell, I thought Thor was just in the game anyway?
  9. I went with XII, while it may not be the best story - I find it to be the best in all other senses of the game, the mechanics etc. I started from the start again, despite being over half way through, but I'm taking the time to level up plenty as well as doing all the hunts. I like grinding on this one too, mainly because I love the way you encounter enemies so much more than the random battle system of previous games.
  10. Okay I'm looking to jump into a FF game again, in front of me I have I, II, III, VI, VII, IX and XII. I, VII and IX are the only ones I have completed (I was recently aswell). III is on my DS which I don't actually know the location of, so that leaves II, VI, VII, IX or XII to choose from really. What do you guys suggest, and why?
  11. On just about all their albums Soulfly have had tracks entitled 'Soulfly' and then numbered II to VI there after I believe.
  12. Ooooh you got me there idol, you got me good >_>

  13. Actually saying I wasn't a fan of his work, I did really enjoy Thriller (the full length version though).
  14. Sorry. Too soon I know, couldn't resist >_< But yeah RIP to him and all, I was never really a fan but there's no denying his influence on so many parts of todays culture.
  15. Who? Pfft. Call yourself a wrestling fan. EDIT: It si the 25th still? At least it is here.
  16. Awwww crap. On another non related note, I've been fancying getting into some mainstream DC stuff as of late. I have no idea where to start though. I last read DC stuff, must be tens years ago when they had the red and blue superman versions walking around at the same time. I read a bit of Flash and Green Lantern from the same time, but as you can imagine I don't remember a great deal. Oh and I randomly have a JLA graphic novel called 'American Dreams' (this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Justice-League-Ame...8060&sr=8-8) What current books are worth reading? And what stuff, like trades, is worth reading or for that matter essential reading?
  17. I found a gem in Captain Britain and MI13. I picked up the first trade a bit ago but for some reason never read it until this weekend. Its a great mix of action, humor and all round good storytelling. All the characters are very distinct, in the way wall they all bring something different to the book's cast. I like the mix of British heroes like Cap and Spitfire, and a few under utilized guys like Black Knight. Wisdom's always been random to me, sometimes (most of the time) I've hated his character, and others I loved him. In this book I'm certainly going to love him. Add all the magic stuff, vampires and the fact that its British based... I can't help but love this. I just the other day ordered the second volume, so hopefully It won't disappoint.
  18. I read the first few issues of it (its 8 long I think) but then missed one or two, so rather than being confused I decided to wait for the trade. What I had read was really good though, and as you say - a very intriguing concept.
  19. Some random thoughts revolving around the Marvel U at the minute; I recently decided to give Amazing Spider-Man another try. I was not disappointed. The Fantastic Four story was brilliant, 24/7 was good too.. not as good, but still fun. American Son is shaping up to be wonderful thus far, hopefully it'll end a well as it's started. Dark Avengers is really fun, and its pretty much the epicenter of all things Dark Reign. Its Bendis at his best again just like when New Avengers started a few years back (maybe not quite that good) and its clear to me that Bendis is at his best when he's kicking off something new and exciting. War of Kings is possibly the best thing happening right now, both from a story and art perspective. I haven't followed much of the Space stuff before this, but its plenty easy to get into. The only tie in I'm reading is Ascension, which is also a fine read. Quite a few things I am looking forward too in coming months too; the Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men crossover Utopia, The Sinister Spider-Man, the fact that Wolverine Origins is finally seeing Logan come face to face with Romulus after what seems an eternity and pretty much all things going on in the Avengers and X related titles. Oh and Wolverine: Weapon X seems like its going to be an awesome book too.
  20. Anyone fancy playing on XBOX live? Like proper wrestling matches, ya know instead of the usual idiots you encounter online?
  21. If this is what I think it is, I love it! Is it the one with Onslaught as the end boss?
  22. Yeah I know you gotta click that, my problem is that its not appearing to select. It'll only let me do things relating to my new championship path. On another note I am both relieved and kicking myself now that I have realized that I don't have to go go through career with every CAW. I just need to copy my first CAW, and it copies the stats with it. Then just edit the appearance, moves and entrance along with it.
  23. Yeah, when you get a choice of 'title match' or 'regular match' it also gives the option of 'defend title' sometimes. No idea how it appears though :/
  24. This might seem an odd question, as I know I have had the option on screen to do this before... but how do you defend a title in career mode?
  25. As stupid as it is in the grand scheme of things, I enjoyed this issue of Spidey (part one of the FF story, I haven't received part 2 yet) more that I have enjoyed an issue of Spidey for a long, long time. So meh, I like it for now.
