Must say, Bergkamp was NEVER offside, not in a million years. Not sure about the penalty (or lack of) but I think we were the better side by a long way second half. I nearly had a heart attack when Henry hit that overhead though... It was an absolutely oustanding game, both teams deserve credit for that. Best game i've seen in the Prem this season I reckon.

Quite frankly, i'm disappointed in all of you. I cannot believe no one has mentioned Flashback yet. It is quite possibly the greatest game ever created. It even beats the awesomeness that is Golden Axe and Another World. Buy It. Buy It Now.

New bug here. I'm Turkey and Man Utd manager in my fifth season. I get a message in my news saying that Turkey have hired Cristoph Daum as their new manager. I check and i'm still manager (I can access the squad and stuff) yet its his name on the staff screen. So I sack him (For some reason I had the "remove from national job" bit available. But they re-hire him. So I try to resign myself and it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Awesome win for us today.... I just can't see Chelsea slipping up though. But yeah, as for Heinze, i've been saying it since we bought him. The guy is one of the (if not the) best signings of the season. Just when we needed to sure up the defence he came in and has been outstanding ever since.

Yup. Got sacked. On a plus note though, two weeks later i got offered the Turkey job (Their coach still got sacked after making the Quarter Finals and beating my England team 3-0 in the groups ). Had a big change around in my Utd team, I've sold Barry and Silvestre and brought in Ryan Babel from Ajax, Mark Gonzalez from Albacete and Peter Cech for £9m from chelsea. I'm hoping to sign Hatem Ben Arfa (Marsielle) and Phillip Lahm (Juve) I've also transfer listed Scholes, Gary Neville, Alex Frei and Roy Carroll but no one seems to want them right now. On a side note, never ever sign Sukanta from AC Milan. He's a royal pain in the ass. First he wants to leave, then he doesn't, now he does again. So i'm selling him to a Spanish club in exchange for some young guy called Oskitz.

An update, beat Liverpool 2-1 in the FA Cup final, came from behind with Rooney scoring twice. In other news my England side had a disappointing Euro 2008. I was screwed by the comp though. When I was asked to select my squad the game refused to allow me to add Sol Campbell, Steven Gerrard and Ledley King to it. (It said "This player cannot be added to the squad at the current time"). None of them were injured btw. Combine that with Rio Ferdinand being injured and I went in with a heavily depleted squad. Anyway, in the first game Jon Stead scored a 90th minute winner to beat Holland 2-1. Awesome start and we continued with a decent 1-1 draw against Sweden in the second game. So, third game comes along, against Turkey, and we're sitting top of the group with 4 points. (Turkey + Sweden on 2, Holland on 1). No problem qualifying right? That's what I thought. The match with Turkey was completely even, yet they win 3-0. Same amount of possession, same amount of chances. And to make things worse, Sweden beat Holland 2-1 putting us out. Could well be in for the sack now...

My man utd side just won the league for the 4th consecutive season. Did it easily for the first time, finished 10 clear of Arsenal. Although, due to playing in the World Club Championship and Super Cup get this for a schedule. 30th April - Tottenham W 3-1 1st May - Liverpool (a) D 1-1 3rd May - Chelsea (a) D 1-1 4th May Man City (a) W 2-1 7th May - Roma D 0-0 5 tough games in 8 days! And I thought getting through that unbeaten was awesome. Anyway, we lost the Champiuons League final on penalties to Chelsea (would've been 3 CL titles in a row, bastards). Still got the FA Cup final to come against Liverpool. The FA Cup and League Cup are the only competitions ive been in that i haven't won. Got beat in the FA cup final in my 2nd season by Chelsea (On penalties no less). So far in the game my team have acheived Premiership (Winners) - 04/05, 05/06, 06/07, 07/08 Champions League (Winners) - 05/06, 06/07 (Runners Up) - 07/08 FA Cup (Runners Up) - 05/06 Super Cup (Winners) - 06/07, 07/08 World Club Championship (Winners) - 06/07, 07/08 Community Shield (Winners) - 05/06, 07/08 (Runners Up) - 04/05, 06/07 I just wanna get to the end of my current season so I can take my England side to the 2008 European Championships. Surprisingly, even though i'm winning everything, i'm still enjoying it. I find it a challenge to stay on top and i seem to be the only one looking forward to 2020 or so to see what type of team i've got.

Well that was shite. Heh, maybe this'll hammer it home to Ferguson that alot of our reserves just aren't good enough (see Miller, Djemba, Bellion and co.) Even players like Wes Brown and John O'Shea seem to lack any sort of consistency. Still, fair play to Exeter, i haven't seen it yet but i gather it wasn't just our own ineptity that stopped us winning. Ferguson reckons it was the worst performance he's seen from a Utd side in the Cup since he took over. Maybe that's because he picked the worst team he's ever picked in his time there! Seriously, our reserves are awful really, save for Spector, Rossi and Pique (maybe Richardson/Eagles at an outside chance) none of them have any sort of shot of ever playing reguarly for Utd. And as for the likes of Miller and Djemba, the sooner they fuck off the better. Here's hoping Fergie puts out a better side in the replay. Oh, and before anyone says, i realise ineptity isn't a word but i felt a new word needed to be created for the woeful performance.

ok, i got this today and i've been and signed up at steam and the game is fully installed. I've played it whilst being online but when i try to play offline it keeps telling me that "this game is not yet ready to play in offline mode". can anyone help with this?

Yeah so I only got the game yesterday so i'm not too far into it. I was just wondering though, can you play pool at any time? If so, where? Or is it "unlocked" after a mission like with the gym and clothes shop etc.

Woohoo! New PB! 42.531 This game is seriously addictive I'm confused though since there's two different times on mine.

Goalscoring wise, Ruud's 74 in 60 odd games isn't a bad record as for signings, i'd say Van Der Vaart since that's my only signing from my first season who has been a regular first choice. Other than him, i'd have to add Alexander Frei in there as well, since Carlos Quieroz advised me not to sign him, but I did and he pretty much won me the champs league on his own in my third season.
