  1. 1. Are you Team Harry or Team Marv?

Honestly can't decide.

Spoiler

Harry Lyme

  • Shot in the nuts with a BB gun
  • Slipped on ice on the front steps and fell onto his back
  • Burnt his hand on the front doorknob, then slipped off the ice on the front steps and fell on what looks like his neck
  • Gets the top of his head burnt with a makeshift flamethrower
  • Gets feathers glued to his face (not sure if this counts)
  • Slip on toy cars and fall onto his back
  • Gets hit in the head with a can of paint
  • Trips on a wire, does the best front flip and falls on his back
  • Gets a tarantula
  • Gets hit in the chest with a crowbar (by Marv, therefore does not count)
  • Swings off a rope into a brick wall
  • Gets hit in the head with a snow shovel

Marv Merchants

  • Shot in the forehead with a BB gun
  • Slipped on ice on the basement steps and fell down the flight of stairs
  • Hit in the head with an iron
  • Stepped barefoot on a nail
  • Stepped barefoot on Christmas ornaments
  • Slip on toy cars and fall onto his back
  • Gets a tarantula placed on his face
  • Gets hit in the head with a can of paint
  • Gets hit in the upper arm with a crowbar (by Harry, therefore does not count)
  • Swings off a rope into a brick wall
  • Gets hit in the head with a snow shovel

If we're strictly talking stuff from the first movie, I'd go Harry. Including 2, as Forky points out, it's hard to discount the whole electrocution thing for Marv. Though, Harry also sticks his flaming head into a toilet bowl of flammable liquid so...

How can that even be a question? Harry for Life!

The man was electrocuted to his skeleton

It's Marv who gets electrocuted.

TBF I always thought Marv should've been named Harry and Harry should've been named Marv.

I mean, I always thought the same thing as a kid. Why would the tall hairy guy be named Harry rather than the bald guy?

The tall hairy guy is Marv, though.

I definitely meant both but had only watched the first one so far this year. Couldn’t recall all that happens in 2 so didn’t list them down yet.

I also didn’t know their surnames till I saw it on Wikipedia. What kind of name is Marv Merchants, anyway?

Joe Pesci has had a more successful and memorable career than Daniel Stern, so gotta go with Harry Lyme.

But I have to ask, aren't they technically part of the same team?
