10 Years - The Autumn Effect

10 Years has instances in songs which remind me of Tool, but the entire album is softer than Tool. The band has tons of talent and definitely has become one of my favorite current bands around.

Iron and Wine - Our Endless Numbered Days - 8/10

I know in the last few albums I've bought, I've nearly given every one of them an 8...and that hasn't changed much yet, unless you want me to review that 50 Cent album that I turned on then quickly turned off yesterday...

Still, this is soft brilliance, great lyrics, and smooth simplicity set to music. It's very good stuff once again from the man known as Sam Beam.
