To be honest, I played the beta and I wasn't really that impressed. It seems like a stat update with a few more features. Maybe someone can change my opinion here?

Afterall, it was the beta, maybe things have been changed / implemented.

BWAHAHA...I just beat Villa 2-1 on penalties in the League Cup, and its now changed the result to a 3-1 penalt win for them. What the fuck, seriously?

I'm mainly playing as Leeds, but today I've had a go at Stafford Rangers or whatever they're called in the Conference North, and it's rather fun. Sure, I got drubbed 3-0 and over by bigger teams in the friendlies, but it's fairly interesting to play around with newer, less skilled guys and face teams I've never faced, as well as actually having the qualify for the FA Cup. Plus, I absolutely drubbed Gainsborough, .

For anyone starting out in the lower leagues and needing a target man, get Leo Fortune West. You can pick him up for a grand, possibly free if you are lucky. The man is a powerhouse.

EDIT: AHHHH, this is why I play this game! 2-0 down, 3-1 down, and Fulham come back with a late cavalcade of goals to beat Portsmouth 4-3 at Fratton Park, with 2 goals from Helguson and McBride each.

Seems a LOT harder to buy players. As Juve I'm offering like three-times the value of a player and the club just refuses to sell him. Defenders especially, they're like gold dust.

Love the game. I've started unemployed for a career and been hired by Bury in League 2. Relegation expectations, a bank balance of a whopping £0, including a 40k loan. Its December now and I'm hovering around 13th-14th (out of 24) thanks to some brilliant loanees (ive noticed you cant get as good players on loan as in previous versions, they just wont come, Ive mostly got youth team players on loan) and a free signing though ive forgotten his name. His stats are average (for a L2 player..) but his form prior to signing him was outstanding and he's carried his form on at my club with 5 assists so far. The guy turned an ankle unfortunately so I keep giving him injections to keep him going from match to match LOL. Love that. Got another 2 free signings coming in the january transfer window.

In previous versions I was never able to sign somebody on a free, in this one, I havent spent a penny, not that I could I cant wait till I sit down and negotiate my own contract with the Bury Chairman. Originaly I was meant to have a 2 year deal but I asked for a 1 year. I think I'd quite like to stay around at this club. Good stadium, bank balance is now over £47k, all loans paid off, and im only about 1k over the wage budget. I can do stuff with this club. We're going places jack!

Most of my games have been 1-0, 2-0, 2-1 etc. so I'd say it's your tactics.

Playing as Fulham at the moment, 1 win, 1 draw and 2 losses, one thing I've noticed in this game, if you have a good target man, they seem to win a lot of penalties, I've had 3 in 4 games.

McBride is quality in my game so far, top scorer in the Prem after about 13 games.

And Lost Soul, Champions League games seem to take a while

Matthew Tipton, Bury, scored 20 goals by January 1st. And i'm 16th in the League too. The guys a goal machine. Pity my goalie sucks. Im defo gonna try and secure a new contract as ive just tied up the signing of 2 great Championship players to come in on frees next season. Im stunned really that I got them for free. Me Spend No Money!
