Futuristic Movies?

Hey guys I am looking for some futuristic movies to watch. They dont have to exactly be good just set in the future with decent stars. For example I am starting this topic because the Rollerball remake was on cable last night and I had fun watching it. So obviously quality isnt an issue.

Quality - like beauty - is in the eye of the beholder. A movie doesn't need a 5* acting performance and a brilliant script to be quality.

I sort of likes I, Robot. Another one I haven't seen thats older is Logan's Run.

Aside from what has been mentioned Mad Max is always good. Minority Report could be construed to fit.

12 Monkeys, Escape from New York/LA, Equilibrium and Water World are all set in a post apocalyptic setting. Judge Dredd too I suppose. Starship Troopers?

I also liked Fortress when I was younger, has Christopher Lambert in it. Probably shit but I remember liking it.

Technically Escape from New York is set in the past now But yeah stuff that is in the future that isnt like starships and crap like Star Trek.

How about Starship Troopers. Extremely badass movie, one of my favorites that never really got the praise it was due. However, do not under any circumstances pick up Starship Troopers 2. I get shivers running down my spine just thinking of that abomination.

It's one of the few movies I kept repeatedly watching after my first viewing. And the effects and story are great.

The Running Man... Book is set in the future and I think the movie is too. It is a game show and Arnold Scwartzenegger does battle with Jesse Ventura.

After see Mick's signature I just remembered The Stand television miniseries.

The Matrix (at least the last two) fit in, since they're pretty much futuristic, set in the future and post apocalyptic. Akira too. Planet of the Apes isn't futuristic but it is post apocalyptic. The upcoming V For Vendetta. Serenity is supposed to be too but I've not seen it yet.
