Slash, easilly beaten, Lou, almsot as easy, Tom Morello, I can kick his ass, but it not enough before it goes to Death Drain, how do you counter death drain?

I want to earn everything the normal way but if I can't do it online I may as well enter that code after earning everything I can normally, I hate cheating for the sake of cheating, I hate cheating full stop unless it's for massacres in GTA but I may have to lower myself

As far as I have read, you cannot use old guitars on the PS3. Some of this adapters do recognize the guitars, but they have serious lag issues, or they cannot recognize the whammy bar, among other faults. It's a less than perfect experience.

I don't know about the Wii version, but on the 360 version, you can use a standard controller to play co-op career with.

edit: as far as I know, there's no way to counter the Death Drain.

I second the Fast Solo A hate on One. I nearly five gold starred it too.

Hate is also dished out to the tappy green bit on Barracuda. I swear every note in that section are different spaces apart. I just can't get a rhythm to it.

Love goes out to the hard mode though, its much more satisfying playing with every key and hitting the three note power chords. Finally moved onto it after getting five stars on all the medium ones, Knights of Cydonia being the last to do it on. I don't know why but the bit with all the hammer ons at the end just sends me into a trance where I forget to strum the normal notes.

The notechart for Knights of Cydonia on medium makes no sense at all, I can't begin to work out the HOPO bits.

I had the exact same problem, before finally cracking it last night.

Of course, that probably signals the end of my achievements for the game if GH2 was anything to go by (aside from the "Get Co-Op Career on your own" glitch of course)

You can supposedly cheat for the unlockable based achivements and Enlightened Guitarist if you swing that way.

Fucking Raining Blood. It may be their best song, but it starts to grate after 3 consecutive goes at 5 starring it on medium. I do not look forward to Hard or Expert, and I doubt I'll be getting many gold stars on the top tier.

I've got Guitar Hero II and I'm thinking about getting Guitar Hero I. Will the guitar that came with Guitar Hero II work with Guitar Hero I?

I did Raining Blood on expert last night. It was perhaps the greatest moment of my life, maybe on par with Freebird on expert. I can't beat this Lou bloke though, sigh.
