I've never gone to any sort of festival, but I've made my way to a few shows.

Lynrd Skynrd and ZZ Top was my first concert.

CCR came a bit after that, it was decent.

Next was Elvis Costello, very good show here.

Primus came after that, and they were absolutely amazing. Best show I've ever seen.

The Queers and River City Rebels played in a shit hole in Detroit with some other lame bands supporting.

Last was G.B.H. who fucking rocked the house out. That show was a hell of a lot of fun.

I'm very picky about shows I go to, which is why I've been to so few. Plus, I never have any money to be going to shows.

Alright. Bands/artists that are relevant or somewhat relevant in order of when I saw them (because I am bored)...

Tantric, Lifehouse, 3 Doors Down (all of which happened in 2001 when I had no taste and was also courting a young lady who was a Lifehouse fanatic), Gorillaz, Vendetta Red (three times), the Black Eyed Peas, Cold (sucked sucked sucked), Evanescence (not much better than Cold), Weird Al Yankovic, Rasputina, United State of Electronica, Death Cab for Cutie, the Presidents of the United States of America, the Marley Brothers, Built to Spill, the Pixies, Visqueen, Harvey Danger, Digable Planets, Talib Kweli, Pretty Girls Make Graves, and Elvis Costello.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some. Whatever.

Coheed & Cambria w/ The Blood Brothers, Dredg & mewithoutyou - Oct 2005 (The Docks)

- Awesome show. Coheed and Dredg rocked the house, they both had fantastic sets and it was a great experience for my first concert. I wasn't a fan of The Blood Brothers going into the concert but they were actually quite good live, got the crowd really pumped. We missed mewithoutyou as we got there late but the entire concert was great. I even got the Blood Brothers drum sticks after getting hit in the head with them. Yay me.

Common w/ Shad K - Feb 2006 (The Kool Haus)

- Entirely different environment than the Co&Ca show. Still a fantastic concert though as Shad K (a local rapper from London, Ont) who I had never heard of was actually really good. He freestyled a bit and was really talented on his acoustic gutiar aswell. The DJ played the best of J-Dilla in between sets as he had died a week or so earlier and the crowd really ate it up. Then Common came on and rocked the house as the crowd went nuts for him. He played everything I wanted to hear and he had a great sense of humor aswell.

Man, I'd love to see Lifehouse.

I'm sure you would.

They WERE the best band of the night but of course that's not saying much since Tantric were horrible and 3 Doors Down were just bland.

Stone Sour w/Saliva and a local Bristol Band - Bristol Academy

Murderdolls w/Stone Sour and Elviss - Birmingham Academy

That's all for me at the moment, I will make a few more next year now I'm in Oxford rather than Devon (Y)

Stone Sour were the best out of all the bands there >_> both times they really tore the crowd up. Murderdolls were okay, Saliva were better than them and Elviss sucked some donkey bollocks. Sneaking a look on Stone Sour's tour bus at Bristol and then meeting Josh Rand at Birmingham were definate highlights.
