To be fair it was a two footed, late challenge from the side on a stage as big as the World Cup. Maybe a yellow in the Premiership but not here.

Well, I have to say I'm happy with the half. A lot of fouls on the US, but I think we should continue to play a physical game with the Italians.

That second red card was a make-up call for the blown offsides call probably.

I think the one thing the US team should worry about is their passing game going into the next half. There was some horrible passing going on out there.

I really have a tough time with the being a red card, though I suppose I can see where you could argue that it was. In the EPL or Serie A that's a yellow at best, and if that was an English player this collective board would be shitting bricks at that call.

I didn't see a second foot, I just saw the one. I did only see the replay once thought. But things always look worse in slow motion. He was a 1/4 of a second late, it shouldn't have been a red.

Because he got the ball, and was at most a 1/4 second late. Whoever said if this was England the entire thread would be shitting bricks was very right though. It's a call that you'll be upset with if you're cheering for the team, and you'd be fine with it if you weren't. It was that close.
