I'm thinking of opening my copy of FFX for the first time and was wondering should I use an faq from gamefaqs ?

Any pointers for me this will be my first time playing a finaly fantasy game since part VII

I wouldn't advise using gamefaqs for a first play through. Sure, you won't play it perfectly and you'll miss some things, but when you use gamefaqs you end up spending more time squinting at text than enjoying the game.

Besides, if you have any questions or problems, you've got a handy group of people here to help you out. >_>

Have you got to Macalania Woods yet, stokerino? If so, listen to the music that is played there... if that one's on your soundtrack album... I'll love you forever.

Yeah, I've been and passed through Macalania Woods. Sure that's the music? You described it as "the bizarre atmospheric one that isn't really 'music' but just a few eerie, forest-y sounds", but it sounds more twinkly and melodic to me.

But if that is the one you want...yes, I have it.

Fuck. My dog chewed through the wire of my scart cable, leading from my PS2 to my TV, meaning I can't exactly play, unless I wanna do it blindly, without being able to hear anything. =[

Anyone know where I can get a cheap cable?

I'd probably hate the Sanubia Desert with a passion, if not for the fact that I think Mount Gagazet is a far more tedious trek over all.

I'm kinda pissed I decided to press on to Macalania temple, as it means I can't play blitzball for a while...which is going to suck ass.
