So you all genuinely believe Phil Neville is in the top 5 defenders in the country? Better than John Terry, Nemanja Vidic, Jamie Carragher and Jonathan Woodgate?

Not necessarily, but he's statistically played better than any of them, apparently.

He just plays for Everton and isn't really a big name anymore.

Although why you listed Central Defenders to compare him with, I don't know.

Half Time.

Well they had much more of the ball, but we've been very strong defensively. They haven't deserved a goal. They don't deserve to be behind either.

Lescott has been fantastic. I mean England starting form. Osman has also been very good. Moyes has had to change the shape a few times to try and mask the deficiencies of Fernandes.

We don't look very penetrative through the middle though, not many runs from midfield, and it's too tight for us to get a superior passing game going. We look very dangerous from wide areas though, especially dead balls. Vaughan has got through a lot of running already, and has a booking, so he'll have to be careful. Stubbs has been amazing too, he nearly got caught once not tracking a run from Smith after a nice through ball by Giggs, but luckily Smith dragged wide.

Overall though a brilliant first half, and we're 1-0 up!
