Thank god The Walrus has left Bolton, they might start playing football now!

Also I was really hoping Fulham wouldn't go down because while they aren't the greatest set of players, they would always go out and try to play. They wouldn't sit back and say "oh, we'll just soak it all up and try to get a goal" they'd play to win. But they've sacked Coleman now so I hope they go down.

I reckon the relegated three will be Watford, Charlton and Wigan. C'mon the W'Hammers!

Sam Allardyce is one of the best managers in the Premiership, tactically he's immense and he probably prepares for matches better than anyone else. He gets the rewards from all his effort and he'll no doubt take another team to decent heights when he takes over them.

Personally, I find it disgraceful that West Ham were only fined and not docked points. If this had happened in Italy, we'd all be throwing a fit right now and cursing those dirty greasy fucks. IMO, the rules are clear and they should have had points removed.

Also, I find myself saddened that we may never see goals at Bolton where Gianakapoulos's enormous heads meets the ball and you've got roughly 4 players shoving the goalkeeper to the ground and fumbling the ball into the back of the net. I'll miss those :'(

I'm confused. Weren't the Italian teams being punished for match fixing and threatening referees? I understand that West Ham did something wrong, but comparing that to years of match fixing is a bit rich.

Deserved everything. Got nothing :(.

Just saw this. I can understand this mode of thinking if you'd been the better team for 90 minutes and Utd had stolen a 1-0 win right at the death. But your team gave away a 2 goal lead with some horrendous defending, and thus deserved nothing. At least in my view.

In regards to the league, the best possible scenario for me is that Utd equal Chelsea's result this weekend, and then as long as they don't lose to Chelsea, they'll be lifting the trophy at Stamford Bridge.

If only Chelsea played Arsenal before Utd played City, then if results went Utd's way they'd win it at Eastlands, which would be almost as much fun.

As for Sam Allardyce, I can see him at Newcastle. They desperately need plucking out of obscurity. Their fans deserve better.

lol Newcastle.

Owen and Ameobi come back. And Antoine Siberski breaks his arm and Emre, I dunno, dies. Now N'Zogbia's out there, let's ee who will get injured.

Bury field an ineligible player in the FA Cup by mistake, realise, tell the FA. What happens? They are kicked out of the FA Cup, as per the rules

West Ham field two ineligible players in the Premiership on purpose and don't tell the FA. What happens? A fine of a few million, which is nothing compared to what they would have lost if they'd been given the points deduction they deserved and relegated to the Championship.

We're worse than Serie A. And now the FA have set themselves a precedent, I'd like to see them dock points off anyone ever again. If Wigan go down as a result, I can see Dave Whelan suing the FA.

So are Fulham. It's a match made in heaven.

You follow West Ham, don't you?.....

Also, remember the Middlesborough thing that happened a few years ago that everyone keeps bringing up. Sure, it wasn't the same as fielding an ineligible player, but they got points docked for a lesser misdemeanour and ended up going down by 2 or 3 points, the docking of the points proving costly.

Oh, and as for Allardyce, apparently the Bolton board wouldn't give him the money he felt he needed to get the team anywhere near the getting into the top 4....which is fair enough.
