So yeah, Goaltender Matt Zaba signed with the Rangers yesterday, Wes O'Neil and Whyatt Smith sign with the Aves. And Ed Belfore seems to be headed to Sweden.

The only reason I know this? I had to read sports news yesterday on air.

I would rather have the gay fashion sense and thus all the sexy sexy ladies, than have the big ego and a slow creeping muslim takeover happening in my provence(the sharia law debacle a few years ago, talks of regulating fast food to having to be halal (Popeys already is), the giant fucking Hezbollah billboaord).

In any case, I have to admit that Canada's Wonderland is the shit!!! I love it, it's the only reason I ever step foot in Toronto. I think Montreal should get a Winter Games, we have the facilities don't we?

They look nice, at first I wasn't too over on them, but I've taken a third and fourth look and they are growing on me. I still need to buy a sens jersey but I think I'll save that for day one of my life in ottawa.

I can't remember, did the Capitals new sweaters have stripes? Cause I could of sworn I read somewhere that stripes were being phased out...and judging by the new Sens ones (I kinda liked the old ones, still a shitty hockey team though ) I hope it's not true.

Clawson... why the Ottawa hate? I know CKN is pretty much AWOL but why. At least when it's Montreal and Toronto we both suck, but Ottawa raped the two of us. No dice.

I'm keeping an eye on the fantasy league for next season. Registration is in late August so it'll have to be soon. When it opens if no one objects I'll make the league and start the new Hockey thread.

Also, anyone want to make it interesting? A 5 dollar (Canadian) wager? Say everyone puts in 5 bucks to a paypal account (we'll get an admin to hold the money so no one freaks out) winner at the end of the season takes the pot?

I was in Toronto this past week, and let me say, after visiting the Hockey Hall of Fame and then almost immediately afterwards seeing the new Ottawa jerseys I shed a tear. How far hockey's fashion sense has fallen.

In related news, I touched the Stanley Cup while there.

I'd also be up for the fantasy league. Even though the exchange rate means I miss out on like a valuable 4 cents or whatever.
