I'm going to the Camden (London) show. Had tickets since forever.

The Electric Ballroom is sick. That's where I saw the Eagles of Death Metal. It's the most rocking venue.

I've heard the song Wicked World by Osaka Popstar, and it's pretty damned good.

ANyways, I'm totally not stoked at all about the lack of Western Canadian dates... I cannot afford to fly out to Toronto or California to see this... I was super excited when I read there were Canadian dates scheduled, and my dreams were all crushed with the lack of Vancouver or even Calgary scheduled. lame.

I don't know if I want to BUY the Osaka Popstar CD...I didn't like Cafiero's vocals on "I Wanna Be A NY Ranger" much at all...If I can find it for cheap, I'll buy it though.

And I meant I can't find it in stores...I've seen it online alot, but never around here.

I wouldn't call myself overly keen on the Misfits, but I'd definitely like to go to that show. I'm mainly interested in the UK Subs and The Adicts, who are both said to be pretty good live, especially the Adicts. The UK Subs are an awesome band and would be worth seeing on their own.

So Osaka Popstar. The only way I can describe it is Michael Graves Misfits era instruments and vocals (I know it's not that band) but with the camp factor turned up to 1000.

Not that that is a bad thing.

However it is fucking awesome when someone asks you what you're listening to, and you say 'Osaka Popstar and the American Legends of Punk'

Shuts them right up.
