How exactly do they work? How is seeding done if at all? Just with the likelihood Rovers go through will I be able to save up to go to somewhere like Ajax or be dumped to go to some shitty side from Malta or something instead. Also, how is it worked out whom plays what games home and away since each team only play each once?

No because West Ham actually has good players. Feyenoord managed to get through with two boring draws. Feyenoord is still seen as one of the 'big three' in Holland but quite frankly AZ has taken their place. Feyenoord used to have a good team, but they simply don't have a good team anymore. Hell, even SC Heerenveen has a better team than Feyenoord. I think Feyenoord is known in Europe by most football fans, so they are still a worldclass CLUB (they also have a huge fanbase) but they are not a worldclass TEAM anymore, if you know what I'm shizzling.

Might as well concentrate on the league.

Then again, if it's Top 3 go through, we could scrape through by the skin of our teeth. But, we could lose all 4 realistically; at least it's more exciting than last year though.

We (Rangers) were pretty lucky. Our high seeding helped us clearly.

I can only see Auxerre beating us. Although...Maccabi Haifa, Israeli team. They're hard to predict. And Partizan Belgrade won't be easy. Livorno seems pretty straight forward though.

Disappointed we didn't get Blackburn. But it seems we might get them in the next round. Spurs should be fine. And why are Newcastle in the Group Of Death dammut?

It'll be interesting to see if Sevilla can win the UEFA Cup two years in a row. When was the last time anyone retained the UEFA Cup anyways?

Ack - Besiktas away. It's gonna be a tough group but if we can win our two home games which ARE definitely winnable, we can get through.
