I don't know how they can continue without Hawkins either - he was the main man in the band. A shame really. They have been one of the best glam bands of the recent years. I saw them live in 2003 and picked up their debut album, too.

This is shitty though. I don't like the new stuff, as I feel like the newer stuff is basically them trying to parody themselves. First album was really sweet though.

My best mate is obsessed with the Darkness. I've learned to tolerate them as a result, but nontheless, i don't exactly like him.

The Darkness can't really continue without Hawkins due to the dominance/uniqueness of his voice. It's a shame actually, self-parody aside they were a way more tolerable flavour of the month than your average NME band.
