but seriously, it is quite easy to play the game (well is another story) ... but I'm sure managing a game is a little bit more involved.

I'd rather have some tips/resources/helpful hints before just jumping in.

To be honest, since I've managed to run a ton of games perfectly fine without much in the way of guidance, if I were you I'd think the best way to demonstrate how wrong I am would be to just run a game and see how it goes.
