I really cannot shake off how new Brand New sounds like old Modest Mouse. Either way, both rock. And the new Brand new album is fucking beautiful.

And how older Taking Back Sunday (First two albums) sounds like the less 'hardcore' Lifetime tracks. More in 'sound', than actual song content though.

The intro to Metallica's "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" is ripped off a song by The Strawbs.

STP's "Sex Type Thing" main riff is taken from Danzig's song "Twist Of Cain". Also the main riff of Twist Of Cain, when played backwards is the main riff to Danzig's "Snakes Of Christ".

Dave Mustaine used James Hetfield's riff from "Motorbreath" for the song "FFF".

Ray Parker Jr.'s Ghostbusters' theme is Huey Lewis' "I Want A New Drug".
