He's a good player if you can get the right service to him; which took Blackwell/Carver/Wise almost 3 years to figure out - by then it was too late. Anyway, Sanchez knows how to play to Healy's strengths, and he should be a class act in the premiership if he plays with some decent wingers.

Lets be honest here. He wasn't playing with the best in the Northern Ireland side.

He's had a few moments with NI, but he's done next to nothing with Leeds.

Benayoun to me is a strange player, he's got that thing where he feels like shooting all the time and misses by a mile, plus he keeps running, running. running and not passing only to shoot like a prick. If Benitez teaches/tells him to pass, he'll have gold.

Well, he has scored more than 1 every two games at International Level for Northern Ireland, who frankly aren't the best. And as Intent said, when you score goals against teams like Spain and England (might as well throw us in there), it isn't exactly small fry. Add that he scored 43 in 136 for PNE, which isn't horrendous since he is more a forward than a striker, so to speak, and 29 in 111 for Leeds, which is poor, but it was for a really poor Leeds team, it shows that when you can get him going, he can score goals. 1 in 2 for NI, 1 in 3 for PNE and even 1 in 4 for Leeds, so it isn't horrendously shabby.

Forgot he scored 2 against Sweden as well earlier this season.

I'm pretty sure that the main reason Healy didn't "prove himself" at Championship level like Lost Soul says is because he was playing for a Leeds team that can't string 4 passes together, and certainly can't provide anything approaching decent service to the forwards. Fuck, Leeds could've brought Adriano in last season and he'd have struggled to score.

That means nothing. The Northern Ireland side are hardly a fantastic side.

Right... so how does that prove he's a bad player? If anything it proves he's a good player because he's pretty much single-handedly carried them to a strong position in their Euro group. Whether the N.I. team is good or not doesn't make any difference to the quality of side he is playing against.
