Also the Man City stuff amuses me because for the past 2 weeks or so the rumour mill page of the paper has always been headed by Man City being after another player. It's like, how many do you want?

£6m for Smith is about right IMO. I wouldn't pay any more than that but I don't think that's an unreasonable amount for him.

And as for them having a better set of strikers than the top 4, I know its probably just hyperbole on your part, but thats not true. Owen and Martins are really good, Smith doesn't score goals anymore really and can't be relied on to, and Viduka is one of the laziest players going when he wants to be, and pretty good when he has decided not to be lazy.
