As for Carsons, it wasn't clear cut - they already had the penalty, and Osbourne was covering around and would have been on the line had Tevez got through.

As for the other decisions, I'd say a yellow for Carson since the defender was there, and how Everton did not get at least 1 penalty is beyond me. No complaints about R-C's 2 yellows though.

Unconvincing win to be honest, Kenwyne Jones was the best player on the pitch. Still, despite losing our last three games in which on the basis of play we could have easily drawn all three, it's good to get back on track.

We don't pronounce the j in Kuijt. We pronounce the ui as if it's one letter. It's very hard to type, well...it's basically impossible to get you guys to say it right without actually speaking with you.

I've always called him "Koyt" ...because to me, that's what looks most fitting when looking at "Kuyt". Any commentators pronouncing it "Kite" or "Kowt" are just showing off.

And what I saw was Gerrard begin his fall outside the area. In my book, that's a Free Kick, not a Penalty. Let me know if they've changed the rules in the last week or so though.
