I just got a email from Best Buy telling me about my pre-order. It says its coming out now on 3/15/2008.

Does anybody know the cause, didn't see it posted anywhere.

As long as GTA4 and SDvR07 are still on time, it won't be so bad.

But this is even worse with no other games from the great launch of the ps3.

According to GameFAQS, the release date for the US is still TBA. It has been confirmed for March 08 for Australia.

I forgot all about the remastered MGS4 trailer. At the end of it, it says "Coming 2006" then the 6 becomes a 8. After that the 8 is crossed out and a 7 is put in its place. Now I believe this was in the original trailer but I figured they would have changed it with the remastered one if they knew it wouldn't be released in 2007. So 2007 could be possible.

Who the cock is that, Reily? Being someone who has never played MGS at all or ever watched anyone else play it, that trailer was way too fucking long but impressive in parts.

Shame I can't download a video of someone playing through the entire MGS franchise just because I can't be bothered buying and playing them to understand the story. (¬_¬)

Raiden is the ninja guy at the end. In Metal Gear Solid 2 you played as him for part of the game (a bit like in the Resi Evil games where you swapped characters for certain bits). He was badass, but most people hated him because he had white hair. True story

Because he spent half the game having angsty conversations with his girlfriend, and was upstaged by absolutely everyone around him in terms of badassness (minus Emma, of course).

So yeah, what platform will this eventually be coming out on? I'm going to have to get it, it looks immense. I haven't played 3, but whatever.

Never in my life have I seen anyone mark out for Raiden, and rightly so. You wanna see emo in video games? You turn to Raiden in MGS2. Honestly, every chance I had to kill that little twat I did. Which is why it took me a long time to beat the game... that and the 28497247 hours of FMV.

I don't think that Raiden was a particularly bad character, it's just that he wasn't as awesome as Solid Snake. I always thought that Raiden was kinda cool, and new, but why would I want to play as him when I could play as Solid fucking Snake, the baddest mother on the planet?
