So, who do I think is gonna win? It's a tough one - I think ones in with a real shot are Greece (it's a very catchy song, and it's in a strong position), Russia (Eastern Bloc + it's second to last), Ukraine & Sweden (both uber divas, and have either the Eastern / Scandinavian and Western bloc vote), Finland (an outsider, but ya never know) or Latvia (because they're fucking awesome).

I've actually made note of the show's time and intend to sit down and watch it from the start this evening. I mean, I usually end up watching it every year, but that's usually by flicking over 20 minutes in and and thinking "Oh, Eurovision's on. Was it really this weekend? Can't be arsed to watch it really...but there's nothing else on...eh, I'll just leave it in the background until I think of something better to do". *cue solid viewing for the next few hours*

Clearly I have learnt to accept, nay, embrace the inevitable.
