I think Patrick Stump used to be a phenomenal vocalist but I've noticed in my eyes his vocal abilities (or at least what he showcases) have declined since the "Take This To Your Grave" days. However, I think this cover is great. I absolutely hated the latest album, but I love this cover.

I like it. A lot. They worked the music to go with Patrick's voice very well. They're not MJ, who in my eyes is a musical god, but I dig it.

John Mayer doing Eddie Van Halen's solo is a fucking sin, though. I hate John Mayer. The solo was nice, but Van Halen was so much better.

I also like how they did the part right after the solo.

Overall, good song. I've been trying to get my band to cover Beat It for-fucking-ever, so I'm jealous.

Like him or hate him, John Mayer's one of the best guitarists in the world today. Granted, he's much better at the bluesy stuff, but I thought that solo was excellent and did the original justice.

Not a fan of Fall Out Boy, but i'll admit I like this cover and they did it well. It's almost relistenable.
