Nice RAW there, HY. I like the Richards gimmick-- but how big can his name get? "Hulk Hogan" Stevie Richards? It doesn't even sound right. :P

Anywho, I guess it's my go. A preview will go up later.

(Thanks for the reply btw, Agent.)

WWE SmackDown! Preview, April 22nd 2004

Since demolishing the WWE Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Guerrero three weeks ago on SmackDown! via the Chokeslam. The Big Show has been granted a shot at Guerrero's title, tonight! After picking up a pinfall last week in their tag team match, can Eddie Guerrero repeat that win tonight-- when it counts the most?

After using his mind games to help Billy Kidman get the win last week over Scott Steiner on SmackDown!. Can John Cena manage to pick up a win over Bradshaw with Scott Steiner lurking around the hallways?

Also tonight, since costing Tazz a win last week to Jamie Noble. Can Charlie Haas continuing his winning ways against Booker T? And can Booker T focus his attention just on Charlie Haas, when an angry Kurt Angle is in the arena?

SmackDown!

April 22nd 2004

Commentators: Michael Cole & Jerry "The King" Lawler

A Force To Be Reckoned With Speaks

After the normal entrance to the show, Charlie Haas' music starts up as the crowd starts to boo the cocky 'young gun'. Charlie Haas and Stacy Keibler make their way out as a small "puppies" chant starts up before continuing down the ramp. Haas then sits on the middle rope as Keibler slowly enters the ring, bending all the way down before walking into the ring. Haas then stares at the crowd while Keibler grabs a microphone from the ring announcer.

Stacy Keibler: "Last week, my man Charlie Haas gave Tazz the beating of his life. Yeah, it's true. Tazz is probably at home, healing his bruises and cuts after what Charlie did last week. Show the footage."

...with Tazz yelling at Stacy, Charlie Haas comes running down the ramp with a steel chair in his hand, as he slides in while the referee and Tazz are distracted. Tazz then happens to turn around as Haas swings the chair-- connecting with the skull of Tazz as he falls down to the mat!

[Fast Forward]

After the match, with Jamie Noble at ringside celebrate his win. Charlie Haas quickly picks up the chair and reenters the ring with it in hand. As Tazz tries to get back up to his feet, Haas shoves the chair in the gut as Tazz drops down to his knees. Haas then raises the chair up, getting nice heel heat, before swinging it on the back of Tazz! With Tazz face down on the mat, Haas tosses the chair in the face of the referee before quickly locking in the Haas Of Pain to even more boos from the crowd. The referee pressures Haas to break the hold, as he does before rolling out of the ring to meet up with diva, Stacy Keibler. The couple get decent heat as they make their way up the ramp, raising their hands in the air.

With the crowd booing Haas, Stacy claps for him before passing him the microphone.

Charlie Haas: "You see, that's what I do to people who think I am a joke. I said I was the future of this business-- and I didn't lie! Tazz thinks he can teach me a lesson? Ha, what a joke. This guy barely succeeded as a commentator in the WWE, what makes him think he can take on a wrestle with the caliber of my talent?--"

Booker T's music plays as the crowd quickly starts to cheer for the former five time WCW Champion. Booker T then makes his way out to the stage with a microphone in hand as Haas is bothered by his interruption.

Booker T: "You know what? I was backstage waiting to come out for our match... and you just kept talkin'! Shut...up."

The crowd cheers Booker as Charlie stares yelling at him, while Stacy is shocked that Booker even said that.

Booker T: "But I did hear you say that you said that Tazz couldn't beat a wrestler of your caliber? Well let me show you what I showed Kurt Angle last week, sucka..."

Booker T then starts walking down the ramp as Haas tosses the microphone away.

Charlie Haas vs. Booker T

With Stacy Keibler exiting the ring, Booker T enters as the two begin their match with the sound of the bell.

Coming near the end of the match, Booker T had Haas right where he wanted him until Stacy Keibler climbed onto the ring apron, revealing a thong from underneath her skirt. With the referee completely distracted on Stacy's assists, Haas tries to make an attempt at a win with a clothesline-- Booker T catches him in mid-clothesline. Book End! Booker T hooks the leg of Charlie, but the referee is still busy with Keibler. Booker T then gets up, walking towards the referee-- but Kurt Angle makes his way down the ramp! Angle quickly slides into the ring and sneaks up behind Booker T, nailing him with the Angle Slam! Kurt then grabs Haas' hand and places it over Booker T's chest before exiting the ring... Meanwhile, Stacy quickly pulls her skirt back down as the referee is still smirking after what he saw. The referee then turns around to find Haas' hand covering Booker T... one, two, three!

After the match, Haas gets rolled out of the ring by Stacy, while Kurt Angle slides back into the ring. Angle then stands over Booker, staring at him while the referee tends to him.

Winner: Charlie Haas

Outnumbered

As the camera cuts to the backstage area, Scotty 2 Hotty is seen entering the arena with his gym bag over his shoulder as he is quickly bombarded by the WWE Tag Team Champions, Jindrak and Cade. Scotty then quickly drops his bag, ready for anything that could happen.

Mark Jindrak: "Where's your boy, Scotty?"

Cade then slaps Jindrak's chest and chuckles before talking to Scotty.

Garrison Cade: "--Oh that's right, he won't be here tonight. "Something" happened to him last week. I forget what though."

Jindrak then pushes Scotty back a bit as he starts to get tough with him.

Mark Jindrak: "Who's gonna help you now?"

Scotty then quickly lands a few punches on Jindrak and Cade before the numbers game caught up. Jindrak and Cade then start landing right hands to the head of Scotty as he slowly slumps down to the floor. Jindrak and Cade then pull Scotty 2 Hotty back up by his tights before putting their shoulders to his stomach-- ramming him into the concrete wall, back first! Scotty then slowly falls back to the floor while the Tag Team Champions back away, leaving Scotty hurt on the concrete floor.

The U.S. Champion Raps About His Easy Ride?

After the commercial break, the crowd is silent as they await for someone to come out. Just then John Cena's music is heard as the crowd erupts into cheers for the WWE U.S. Champion. After a short delay, John Cena makes his way out from behind the curtain as he quickly throws up his 'WordLife' sign. John Cena then waggles his title belt that's around his waist as he pulls a microphone out from his back pocket.

John Cena: "Maybe Steiner was right, maybe I'm getting an easy ride,

Like the Pacers' road to the finals, or me in Jr. High."

Cena then makes his way down the ramp as the fans are already chuckling after his first few lines.

Jonn Cena: "Just look at the kinda fools they pair me up against:

Some Redneck seeing dollar signs, who ain't got no damn sense,

Who ain't won a single match since that other fellow left.

I've seen you wrestle. What's your plan? Boring me to death?

Who'da thunk I'd be agreeing with a Genetic Freak like Scott,

I'm learning new things every day. I'va already learned a lot.

Like, did you know, that steroids give you rage,

So when you try to speak you scream everything you say?

They make your muscles crazy big, till you can't control yourself,

So you tear a quad while jogging. Wait, ain't that what put you on the shelf?

One other thing I know about the stuff that's in your veins,

It's bad for your head... and I ain't mean your brains.

So next time you feelin' freaky, and take home a couple sluts,

Remember to thank the U.S. Champ for givin' you DEEZ..."

Cena-- who is already in the ring, rasies the microphone above his head as the crowd yells out "nuts" before cheering.

John Cena vs. Bradshaw

Non-Title Match

With John already in the ring, Bradshaw's music starts up as the crowd gives him a little bit of a reaction. Obviously angered by the comments that Cena made about him, Bradshaw makes his way down the ramp before entering the ring and quickly beginning the match.

Approaching the end of the match, both men were evenly matched up as they were battling it out with right hands, with the sign of no one giving up an inch. Cena quickly blocks a right hand by Bradshaw, as Cena begins a rally of punches of his own-- backing Bradshaw against the ropes. Cena then tries to send Bradshaw across the ring, but Bradshaw reverses it, sending the U.S. Champion against the ropes. With Cena coming off the ropes, Bradshaw rushes him, attempting a Clothesline From Hell-- but John Cena ducks the attempt! Bradshaw then turns around into a kick to the gut... Cena then lifts Bradshaw up on his shoulders-- FU! Cena quickly covers Bradshaw to pick the three count victory.

After the match, Cena was handed his title belt as he raises it over his head to get a decent pop from the crowd. Just at the time, Scott Steiner is seen already halfway down the ramp before sliding into the ring. John then turns around, just in time to see Steiner running towards him. Cena quickly tosses Scott the U.S. Championship as Scott stops to catch it. Cena then quickly kicks Steiner in the gut, causing him to drop the title, before lifting him up onto his shoulders-- FU! After nailing the FU, Steiner rolls out of the ring as Cena puts up the 'WordLife' sign to the crowds delight.

Winner: John Cena

The 'Dead Man' Still Lives

The camera's quickly cut from the ring to the locker room of Paul Heyman. We see The Rock and Paul Heyman standing, as Heyman has a worried look on his face.

Paul Heyman: "Rock, even thought you beat him last week. The 'dead man' is still roaming the halls."

After a small pop for The Undertaker, The Rock puts a seriously look on his face as he responds to what Heyman had to say.

The Rock: "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Paul, you're right, last week I DID whoop The Undertaker's dead ass all over the arena... and won. No matter what happened after, The Rock won the match, The Rock beat The Undertaker."

Paul Heyman: "Well that's all good and dandy, but when he gets a hold of me and Tombstone's me again-- it won't be. I won't be happy until his ass is GONE! ...So tonight, I've booked the entire FBI... against The Undertaker! ...There's no chance he'll be able to escape a three-on-one handicap match."

The Rock and the GM of SmackDown both have grins on their faces after the mentioning of that three-on-one handicap match.

The World Champion Speaks

The cameras once again cut to another scene, backstage where Josh Matthews is found holding a microphone in hand and the WWE Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Guerrero by his side.

Josh Matthews: "I'm standing here beside the WWE Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Guerrero. Eddie, tonight is your first title defense since Wrestlemania 20 against Kurt Angle. Of course, you face the seven foot giant, The Big Show. What are your thoughts?"

Eddie Guerrero: "You know what, Josh? Tonight, is going to be what I call 'The Two Week Repeat'. Last week, I pinned The Big Show... one, two, three in the center of that ring, Josh. Now this week, it'll be the same outcome, essa. One, two, three..."

The crowd cheers as Eddie continues with his interview.

Eddie Guerrero: "So tonight, essa. "Latino Heat" Eddie Guerrero will remain the WWE World Heavyweight Champion!"

Eddie Guerrero then walks off with a smile on his face while Josh has a shocked expression on his face.

(Commercial Break)

The FBI vs. The Undertaker

Coming back from the commercial break, the three FBI members were already in the ring, awaiting The Undertaker's entrance as a loud 'bong' is heard. The lights then dim down as another loud 'bong' is heard throughout the arena as the crowd immediately cheers for The Undertaker. Paul Bearer then makes his way out, lead by the urn as The Phenom follows in his shadows. The crowd continues to praise The Undertaker as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. Undertaker then makes his way up the steps as he rolls his eyes back before raising his arms up, turning the lights back on in the arena. The FBI then looks around in shock as The Undertaker enters the ring, followed by Paul Bearer. The Undertaker then slowly removes his coat off, handing it to Paul as The FBI is talking to each other about their strategy against 'Taker. The Undertaker then tips his hat before taking it off and handing it to his father as well. The Undertaker rolls his eyes back, scaring the FBI a bit as they all quickly pounce the 'dead man'.

Near the end of the match, all three FBI members were over The Undertaker, pounding on him with left and rights to his back. Out of nowhere, Undertaker comes out with a fury of uppercuts and jabs to all three of the Full Blooded Italians! With the crowd backing his every punch, 'Taker then lands a combination of punches to Stamboli-- taking Stamboli off of his feet! Undertaker then turns his attention towards Palumbo as he also nails Chuck with a multi-punch combination to his body and head-- taking him off of his feet as well! Nunzio then dives at 'Taker, only to be manhandled by The Undertaker-- with quick jabs and uppercuts to send him into the corner! With the crowd at full blast, Johnny "The Bull" gets back up to his feet as he walks straight into the hands of The Undertaker-- Chokeslam! Stamboli then rolls out of the ring as Palumbo is up to his feet-- but is quickly placed onto the shoulder of The Undertaker! The Undertaker then sets himself... before delivering Chuck Palumbo a Tombstone! Undertaker then goes for a pin attempt by folding Palumbo's arms on his chest, one...two...thr-- No! Nunzio slams his forearms onto the back of Undertaker, only to get The Undertaker even more furious. As Nunzio continues to slam his fists on The Undertaker's back. The Undertaker gets back up to his feet-- kicking Nunzio in-between his legs, lifting him up onto his shoulders... Last Ride! Undertaker then puts one hand on the chest of Nunzio as the referee makes the academic three count...

Winner(s): The Undertaker

(74, 71, 77)

The Rock Attempts To "Kill" The 'Dead Man'

...Afterwards, with The Undertaker rolling his eyes back and sticking out his tongue-- The Rock comes running down the ramp with a steel chair in hand as he enters the ring under the bottom rope. The Undertaker then gets up after being warned by Paul Bearer. 'Taker quickly turns around to find The Rock running towards him-- 'Taker quickly lifts his boot up as he connects with the steel chair as it collides with the head of The Rock! The Undertaker then slowly picks Rocky back up as he lifts him onto his shoulder... Tomb-- No! The Rock slips out of The Undertaker's shoulder before pushing 'Taker into the corner and quickly sliding out of the ring! The Rock then quickly makes his way out the ramp, shaking his head after feeling the effects of the chair shot.

The WWE Heavyweight Title Is Up For Grabs, Next!

The camera's cut backstage where The Big Show can be seen grinding his fist into his hand with a menacing look on his face as he can be seen walking down a hallway towards the ring for his WWE Heavyweight Title shot.

(Commercial Break)

The Big Show vs. Eddie Guerrero

WWE Heavyweight Title Match

With the break over, The Big Show's music starts up as the crowd quickly starts up to boo the challenger for the Heavyweight Championship. The Big Show then walks out from behind the curtain as he slowly walks down the ramp, still with the same menacing look upon his face as he is ready for the match ahead of him. Big Show then grabs the top rope as he pulls himself onto the ring apron before climbing over it to enter the ring. After The Big Show entered the ring, Eddie Guerrero's music starts up as the crowd gets to their feet to cheer for their WWE Heavyweight Champion. A low rider then emerges from behind the curtain as Eddie's hand can be seen going with the beat of his theme music as he drives down the ramp. After a few seconds, Eddie finally turns his car off as he exits out with WWE Heavyweight title around his waist. Guerrero then rolls into the ring as he takes his belt off from around his waist and hands it over to the referee, who raises it above his head, declaring the match an official title match.

Near the end of the match, with both men a bit out of it after a long, hard fought match. With The Big Show landing a few sluggish rights to the already busted forehead of Eddie Guerrero-- Guerrero manages to block one, nailing a few of his own right hands to the head of The Big Show! Guerrero then manages to find a second wind after punching his way back to the middle of the ring before dropkicking Show into already exposed turnbuckle! With the crowd cheering for the champion, Eddie slowly makes his way up to the top rope-- Frog Splash-- No! The Big Show manages to put his foot up, causing Eddie to hit his foot jaw first! After a few minutes of struggling to get up to his feet, The Big Show finally gets up but bends back down to slam his hand onto the throat of the fallen champion. Show then lifts Eddie back up to his feet with one hand as he raises his other thumb up in the air-- Chokeslam! The Big Show then signals that it's over before taking the straps off from his attire and letting out a loud yell. Show then slams his hand back onto the throat of Eddie Guerrero, picking him back up once again... Chokeslam-- No! Eddie lands a kick in-between the legs of The Big Show, sending him down to the mat! With the referee behind Big Show, obviously missing what happened, he just lets the match continue as if nothing happened at all. "Latino Heat" then climbs back onto the top rope, a bit sluggish, as he jumps off into the air-- Frog Splash! Guerrero then grabs one leg of The Big Show with both hands, covering him... to get the win!

After the match, with Eddie far gone from the ring. The Big Show gets up to his feet as the referee attempts to help the big man up-- but gets shoved out of the way! With the crowd now booing Show, he walks over to the fallen official-- grabbing him by the throat... Chokeslam! The referee falls onto the mat, crushing his spine on impact. Meanwhile, more officials make their way down to the ring as they attempt to calm The Big Show down-- but Show grabs two referees by their throats-- Chokeslamming both of them down to the mat! The ring then quickly clears as Show exits, staring at the officials that he just chokeslammed.

Nice show there .. as always. And hey, your Cena rap was actually pretty good :P

The Heyman/Rock/Taker stuff is still the highlight of the show for me, and I'm also enjoying Charlie Hass's push. Overall, just great stuff.

I'll try and get a Backlash preview done ASAP .. and probably some sort of predictions contest. Velocity's up next folks (Y)

Guest CTOx

I've been reading, but haven't responded due to the fact that nothing of great consequence is happening. I am hoping that this PPV is an opportunity to break free a little with some new ideas and unpredictable angles. I hate predictions becuase they confuse what should happen with what we expect to happen, so, for the sake of my sanity, I will include my suggestions with each prediction.

World Heavyweight Championship Match:

Chris Benoit d. Triple H - becuase no one wants to build their show around yet another HHH title reign.

What should happen: HHH goes over. Cleanly. Don't ask questions, just worship the H!

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match:

Randy Orton d. Rhyno - Orton cheats to win, continuing the feud which will bring in some other ECW guys to balance Evolution's power.

What should happen: Double count out to continue the feud, leading Orton to demand that they fight their next match in a cage (no count outs, no hardcore crap, just pure wrestling).

World Tag Team Championship Match:

Rob Van Dam & Edge d. Ric Flair & Batista - because the lovable face team is marketable and could put on a decent match with another team.

What should happen: RVD puts on such a sloppy and lethergic match that HHH comes down to fire him (having paid him off to take a dive). An Eric Bischoff probe finds that RVD had been throwing matches since his WWF debut. He retires in shame.

No Holds Barred Match:

Shawn Michaels d. Kane - becuase Kane got the last laugh on RAW.

What should happen: Anythign but a Michaels win, which would only keep the ME picture the same as it has been (Benoit/HHH/Michaels).

WM20 Rematch:

Chris Jericho d. Christian w/ Trish Stratus - becuase the face needs to get some measure of revenge.

What should happen: Christian goes over cleanly. He has a fute. jericho has been pushed and de-pushed so many times that a win would do him no good. He's going to need a full-fledged angle to resurect his career. Let Christian move on in the meantime.

WWE European Championship Match:

Shelton Benjamin w/ Theodore Long d. The Hurricane - becuase Benji is everyone's favorite plaything right now, and Hurricane is stuck in a rut.

What should happen: Hurricane wins when New Jack makes his WWE debut, teaching Long a lesson about the REAL struggles of the African-American race. Thuggin' & Buggin', my ass.

BQ1: How many championships will change hands? 1

BQ2: Which match will have the greatest match quality in EWR? Jericho/Christian

BQ3: Which match will have the greatest crowd reaction in EWR? Michaels/Kane

BQ4: Which match will open the show? European Championship

The winner will be able to book the main event of the April 26th edition of RAW.

Do we get to book the finish, too? *evil grin*

WWE Velocity Preview, April 24th 2004

After an exciting and crazy SmackDown! last Thursday. Tonight will feature some of those highlights, matches, and much more-- recapping most of Thursday's greatest moments of the night.

Also tonight on Velocity, after getting a cheap win over Tazz two weeks ago, Jamie Noble will go up against the man that is currently trying to take the WWE Cruiserweight Title away from Chavo Guerrero's waist, Rey Mysterio!

And tonight, after defeating WWE's top cruiserweights left and right. Matt Morgan looks to destroy another WWE cruiserweight in Ultimo Dragon. Can Matt Morgan continue his current winning streak tonight on Velocity?

Since the draft lottery last month, Kyo Dai has been dismantled-- but most of it's core is still here on SmackDown!. Can Sakado and Akio get back on track by defeating the hot team of Billy Kidman and Paul London?

Thank's a lot for the predictions so far guys, lets keep'em coming people (Y)

Special thanks to CTOx for the detailed comments and predictions.

" I am hoping that this PPV is an opportunity to break free a little with some new ideas and unpredictable angles."

Yes, expect RAW to get a lot more interesting after Backlash. It's been pretty boring up til now, as I've tried to keep storylines going from WM20, but expect things to pick up as we work toward Bad Blood.

SmackDown! Recap: John Cena vs. Bradshaw

Matt Morgan vs. Ultimo Dragon

With the break over, Matt Morgan is seen already walking down the ramp to his music as the big man gets his share of boos. Morgan then climbs up onto the ring apron before entering the ring over the top rope, waiting for Ultimo Dragon. Just then, dragon's can be heard as Ultimo's music begins. Ultimo then makes his way out as he walks halfway down the ramp before stopping. Ultimo then raises his hands in the air before slamming them down, causing fire to shoot up from behind him. Ultimo then makes his way down the rest of the ramp before entering the ring to start the match.

Near the end of the match, with Matt Morgan staggered and standing against the ropes-- Ultimo Dragon is on the top rope, waiting for Morgan to turn around... Morgan then does, as Ultimo goes to kick Matt-- he quickly grabs the referee in his place as Ultimo kicks the referee's head! With the referee down, Morgan falls back against the turnbuckle pad, favoring his head as a large man quickly slides into the ring! The man then looks at Morgan before running at Ultimo-- taking his head off with a big clothesline!

Bill DeMott: "Whoa, who's this guy, Josh?"

Josh Matthews: "Isn't that Matt Morgan's stepbrother, Travis?!"

Just then, the man known as Travis Morgan stands over Ultimo before exiting the ring with a smirk on his face. With the referee coming too, Matt Morgan slowly makes his way out of the corner, picking Ultimo up and placing him in-between his legs... Sitout Powerbomb! Morgan then lays his back against Ultimo for the cover-- as he gets the three count victory, thanks to his stepbrother, Travis.

Afterwards, Travis Morgan reenters the ring as he and his stepbrother embrace before raising their hands in victory.

Winner: Matt Morgan

With the crowd at full blast, Johnny "The Bull" gets back up to his feet as he walks straight into the hands of The Undertaker-- Chokeslam! Stamboli then rolls out of the ring as Palumbo is up to his feet-- but is quickly placed onto the shoulder of The Undertaker! The Undertaker then sets himself... before delivering Chuck Palumbo a Tombstone! Undertaker then goes for a pin attempt by folding Palumbo's arms on his chest, one...two...thr-- No! Right then, Rey Mysterio's music begins as Mysterio shoots out from a hidden doorway on the stage as the crowd pops for his entrance. Mysterio then walks down before getting onto the ramp. As Mysterio makes his way down the ramp, he slaps a few fans hands down the ramp before entering the ring and climbing the turnbuckle as he does his ritual before every match.

With the match nearing its end, Mysterio was in control of Noble as he just hit Noble with a hurricarana, attempting a pin-- one... two... thre-- No! Noble kicks out as both men quickly get up to their feet. Mysterio bounces against the ropes as he lands a dropkick to the knee of Noble as he topples down to the mat in pain. Mysterio then quickly climbs out onto the ring apron as Noble slowly gets up to his feet-- West Coast Pop! Mysterio doesn't cover as Noble is crawling slowly before being dropkicked against the middle rope! Mysterio then runs towards Noble-- nailing the 619 across his head! As Mysterio covers Noble, Chavo Guerrero is already at ringside after running down the ramp-- pulling Mysterio out of the ring to break the count! Chavo then quickly takes his title belt from off around his waist-- hitting Mysterio over the head with it! The referee then calls for the bell after the interference by Chavo Guerrero.

Afterwards, Chavo walks back up the ramp, raising his title over his head to a chorus of boos.

Winner: Rey Mysterio via Disqualification

SmackDown! Recap: The Big Show vs. Eddie Guerrero, WWE Heavyweight Title Match

Near the end of the match, Guerrero manages to find a second wind after punching his way back to the middle of the ring before dropkicking Show into already exposed turnbuckle!

[Fast Forward]

Bill DeMott: "Whoa, who's this guy, Josh?"

Josh Matthews: "Isn't that Matt Morgan's stepbrother, Travis?!"

That has to be one of the most unintentionally funny things that I have ever read ina diary that didn't suck. For starters, both questions would typically qualify as lead-in questions. Their response is supposed to provide us background information (which you convieniantly left out).

Example 1:

Bill DeMott: "Whoa, who's this guy, Josh?"

Josh Matthews: "That's Matt's stepbrother, Travis. He wrestles down in Kentucky, but what's he doing here? He's not under a WWE contract."

Example 2:

Josh Matthews: "Isn't that Matt Morgan's stepbrother, Travis?!"

Bill DeMott: "Yeah it is! I met him one time when we were in Kentucky; that's where he trains. But what the heck is he doing here? Besides giving Ultimo a nasty headache, that is?"

But the real humor is that, by pairing Matthews' question with DeMott's opener, you essentially have Josh calling Bill stupid. Rection wants to know who the guy is, and Josh, who clearly identified the big man immediately, is now second guessing himself due to the Genral's complete ignorence. The funniest is part is that Josh seemed to expect DeMott to know Matt Morgan's stepbrother, as if every obscure relative of every obscure wrestler is hanging around backstage.

Read through it again with a touch of sarcasm and I'm sure you'll pick up on it.

Other than that, it was a pretty average Velocity: a few matches, most of them meaningless, and some clips from SD. Hopefully the Morgan Bros. won't suck all kinds of ass. I like big men, but Travis kinda bothers me. If he drags my man Matt down, I'll make you pay, shoe-man!

Well my attempt to use commentary on Velocity failed. :\

Anywho, The Morgan Bros. will not suck-- they will 0wn all of the good SmackDown! tag teams... *sigh* All three... and I'm giving all three a generous compliment. :P

Thanks for the reply. (Y)

Jeff Hardy To Return To The WWE?

With rumors flying around that Konnan and Jeff Hardy are returning back to the WWE as favors to some of the current talent on the roster. Jeff Hardy, however, was backstage at last weeks SmackDown! taping, observing what has changed since his departure. In another note, Matt Hardy was also at the SmackDown! taping after losing to The Hurricane the day before on RAW.

Konnan, on the other hand, hasn't shown interest into joining the WWE-- even for the pay. Sources say that Konnan doesn't like the backstage politics of the WWE and rather would stay in the NWA:TNA for the time being.
