So, who still thinks Texas doesn't deserve to be number 1?? :)

I didn't actually watch, but I tuned in, and last I saw, they where pretty badly beating Mizzou. This, combined with a decisive OK-win, makes them the most worthy candidate, currently..don't know anybody right now I'd pick to be #1 over them.

I'd love to be able to say Bama, but until we actually beat someone decisively, I couldn't. We should play all-out against Tennessee, seeing as their one of our top rivals, but that wouldn't be a huge win anyway - their doing awful this year, especially in the SEC.

Yeah, this season hasn't been great for us. Tell you what though - it beats losing. By a wide margin.

BCS Standings

Texas

'Bama

Penn State

Oklahoma

USC

Ok St

Georgia

Tx Tech

Ohio St

Florida

Utah

Boise St

LSU

TCU

Mizzou

Ok, that's the top fifteen and I love that TCU/Boise/Utah are all in position to make a strike. Unfortunately only one of TCU/Utah will make the cut out of Mountain West. What's sad, is that we could see only TCU going from the MW if they beat Utah (which leaves one loss BYU and Utah out of the picture, only losing to TCU). But hey, a legit shot at two non BCS teams is GREAT. That, and the fact that many of the undefeated teams left have horrid schedules in front of them, and yeah, this could finally be the year ....

Tulsa and Ball St are in the top 20 as well which is promising.

Oh, and fuck Texas Tech.

I don't care who it is... Texas, 'Bama, Penn State. Whomever it is, I just wanna see only one of those teams make it undefeated and then I want to see OU run the table. Just because I want to see the two faced, fucking sports media put OU in the title game after not letting Georgia in the title game last year 'because they couldn't even win their own conference'.

I realize this won't happen. If Penn St wins this week, they have a straight shot to the title game, and 'Bama only has the SEC title game left considering LSU & Auburn looks to be shit. If one of them slips up, my scenerio COULD happen considering Texas has a brutal schedule, and OU only has Okie State left at the end of the year.

... of course my scenerio becomes nutsfuck is Texas loses a second game, and OU has to play in the Big 12 title game anywho.

Surprised to see Florida in 10th. Really surprised actually. But I guess when you take who they lost to as opposed the teams in front of them, it kind of makes sense. But that's a team that almost beat the number 2, so I would assume that'd count for something.

Ah well though, looking forward to the December controversy when there's like 5 one-loss teams.

Yay, Alabama, First Half Tide. >_>

Good God, on the road against Tennessee sounds excruciating. Fulmer may be losing his ever goddamned mind, but the guy is going to scope out the team that laid waste to him and his top-ranked Vols in decisive fashion last year. He's going to want to bust some ass. Will he win? I wouldn't think so. Then again, if we're only ahead by...ohh...14 points after half one, we might be staring at a 7-1 record.

The big news is Pitt is #17 in the BCS.

HERE WE COME! :shifty:

Also, I'm going to be covering the PSU/OSU game for my radio station internship. I'm pumped. Before the season I had it pegged as a PSU loss. Then I changed to a PSU win, but after seeing OSU dominate a Michigan State team I was pretty high on, I'm not so sure. It's gonna be a good one though.

If PSU is for real they'll beat OSU. If not...then they're clearly not as good as everyone thinks.

I don't think that's the case with PSU. Just because they don't beat OSU they're not as good as we think ? I mean, OSU has been the most dominant team in CFB the last decade along with USC. If PSU wins/plays the game to two scores, then I'd say PSU is pretty well off, and expectations are justified. I mean after all the only team that beat OSU is that USC team.
