EWB's Favourite Actors 2010 - Voting Thread

I don't really watch many films with females as the lead. It's not that I go out of my way to avoid them, the subject matter generally doesn't interest me as much as films with males as the lead. I'm sure I'd like them just fine if I gave them a chance however.

It seems a bit daft to rule out actors simply because they are dead, especially on a "favourite" actors poll.

That said, here's my lot. Some are from television, some film, some are alive, some are dead, some are here for multiple performances, others for just one or two.

1. James Stewart - It's A Wonderful Life, Mr. Smith Goes To Washington

2. Errol Flynn - The Adventures of Robin Hood, Captain Blood, Dodge City

3. Alan Rickman - Die Hard, Galaxy Quest, Dogma, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

4. Robert Downey Jnr. - A Guide to Recognising Your Saints, Iron Man, Iron Man 2. Sherlock Holmes, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang

5. Tom Baker - Doctor Who

6. Gary Oldman - Leon, Fifth Element, The Dark Knight

7. Michael Sheen - Kenneth Williams: Fantabulosa!, The Damned United, Frost/Nixon, The Queen

8. Billy Nighy - State of Play, Underworld, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

9. Min-sik Choi - Oldboy

10. Johanna Wokalek - Der Baader Meinhof Komplex
