Thats a bit shit. Hibs have been doing pretty bad lately but what do the board expect? They're never going to win the league or anything, so stop whining and let them get on with the job. Same goes for all the teams really, the constant chopping and changing and swapping of managers with other clubs mid-season is kinda lame.

Oh Hibs have problems that run far, far deeper than Calderwood.

But at the same time, Calderwood has been an absolute disaster for Hibs.

Who next for Hibs then I wonder. Does it really matter. I doubt anyone can give them the success they crave. Rod will never invest what they want because they are a selling club.

Rangers reserve goalkeeper Grant Adam has been charged in connection with an alleged sectarian breach of the peace.

Adam, 20, the brother of Scotland international Charlie Adam, is alleged to have committed the offence outside a nightclub, in Glasgow's Merchant City area, early on Sunday.

Grant Adam has been with the Scottish champions since leaving school and is the club's third-choice keeper.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday morning.

A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said: "We can confirm a 20-year-old male has been charged in connection with an alleged sectarian breach of the peace, in relation to an incident in Ingram Street on Sunday 6 November."

A spokesman for Rangers said the club would also investigate the allegation.

He said: "We are aware that a player was arrested and we will investigate the matter fully before we make a comment".

How exactly are the youth of today supposed to take an example from today's footballers, again?

Today's SPL plater in hot water: Graham Stack!

A Scottish Premier League footballer has been arrested over an alleged fight in a London nightclub.

Hibernian goalkeeper Graham Stack, 30, was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm after a man in his 20s was treated in hospital.

It is understood the London-born player was arrested outside a club in Kingly Street at about 0230 GMT on Sunday.

He was questioned at a central London police station and bailed pending further inquiries.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of ABH and taken into custody at a central police station.

"He was bailed pending further inquiries, returning in mid-January 2012.

"A man in his 20s suffering from facial injuries was taken to hospital and subsequently discharged."

Hibernian said they would not be issuing a statement on the case.

Stack started his career at Arsenal, and joined the Easter Road side in Edinburgh in the summer of 2009.

The Scottish Premier League has confirmed it will investigate reports of pro-IRA chanting at Celtic's recent home match against Hibernian.

Operations director Iain Blair confirmed that police match commander Eddie Smith notified them following the match on 29 October.

"Eddie mentioned there was pro-IRA chanting but we need to find out more about what happened," Blair said.

"It was included in the report and is subject to an ongoing investigation."

Celtic also face a Uefa hearing over alleged chanting against Rennes in their Europa League tie.

It has been reported that two arrests were made during the 0-0 draw against Hibs.

"I am currently gathering information about what happened during the match when the arrests were made," Blair added.

"We also have to establish that Celtic, as I am sure they will have, co-operated fully with the police in the aftermath of this event.

"Our rules are not the same as Uefa's and it's important people recognise this.

"We have to be strong in our condemnation of pro-IRA chanting or sectarian chanting and we have to work together to eradicate it from our stadiums."

Make them play a game or two behind closed doors. May make fans think twice next time!

1. Celtic need to stop singing the songs.

2. Eddie Smith needs to say what he heard. The SFA then need to say exactly and in detail what they want banned so there can be no confusion in the future for all clubs not just the old firm.

As it stands nobody is saying anything and it doesnt help matters.
