EWR 2011 Stats Update: March ***PLEASE USE SPOILER TAGS***

Recommended Posts

Since there is time to worry about this next month (TE debuts in April), may I suggest what I did earlier. Just make FCW its own federation. that way you can put their own show on Bright House, and then make Tough Enough the developmental. I know it wouldn't be televised, but it would be a suggestion.

As for special guests, I wouldn't want them on there. I understand having Snooki and the Jersey Shore folks, despite not really wanting them, but they are being used more than just one time. If you did include special guest though, how about Jeremy Piven, wasn't he in a match too?

Making FCW its own fed is a bad idea. The whole idea of FCW is a developmental fed that WWE can bring workers up from. If you make FCW then workers would have to be on open for WWE players to bring them up but that means other feds could sign them away. Put them on written then WWE players can't bring those guys up. FCW on its own doesn't work

Also there stats wouldn't change which would make it pointless them being there if there not going to improve!

Hate does seem a tad strong expecially when I read Bischoff said recently something to the effect of ... I thought we used to be quite good friend expecially when I was there for him to talk to when Owen died. But at the very least they should have a dislike!, Hogan I would change to hate and would delete his Clique fueds seems like water under the bridge.

Would anyone else be for pushing some of Jesse Neals stats up a point or two he has been impressing me as of lately?

Is there any point in adding the Tough Enough cast to WWE? I mean, if the show is like it was in the past, then only the winner/s will get a contract and go to FCW, the rest (most likely) will go back to the indy scene. Seems kind of pointless..

Im with parkamania about raising Jesse Neal's stats by a few points. I still think he deserves SS look but that's just me. His new stats should look like this: Brawl: 68-70, Speed: 31-33, Technical: 31-33 as well, and either leave Charisma as is or up it to about 65. Because he's been pretty good on the mic here lately(when he's been talking anyway, Shannon usually does all the talking).

Speaking of Shannon Moore, after his actions at Victory Road after the Tag Team Championship match with Beer Money, I think it's safe to say turn him to Tweener but keep the tag team Ink Inc. together.

I'll just throw this in here where it will get lost in the shuffle of people arguing about stat changes being warranted.

Personally, I don't want celebrities in the DATA. Whether they have had a match or not.

Just so you all know that not everyone is on board with the idea.

Echoing Feller's sentiments here. The celebrities have NO place in the data, in my opinion. If you really, really need Snooki for your WWE game, thats what Arsenic is for, isnt it? Not to have your staff wanting to pick her up for the next 16 months.

I'm also ok with splitting out FCW. Is it the "right" solution? Not necessarily, but nothing else works well either. Even with FCW split out, WWE starts the game with 99+ wrestlers, and spends the first week or so firing people, then hiring up big name non-wrestlers. If you are playing TNA, ROH, a created fed, etc, is that really what you want?

On the flip side, if you really DON'T want celebrities in your game(s), you can just delete them. That's easier than adding in new workers with all the stats, finishers, relationships, alter egos, etc. Might as well put them in if they've at least worked a match relatively recently.

I just have to jump in here because that was funny... I would love to see some celebrities throw down some real finishers.

When It comes to celebrities in my T2L games I've been using Ashley Valence for the female guests and more recently Bill Alfonso for the males.

Gives them decent enough charisma. as much overness they need and about the right fighting stats ^_^

OK... Now that I've slept... :)

I won't be adding a Tough Enough roster split, nor will I be adding a TV show. I didn't add "Reaction" for TNA and I kinda see it as an extension on RAW. After realizing that you can't do 2 shows in one day, I was thinking about making Tough Enough on Tuesday, but, of course, that's when NXT airs. Now, if NXT is no longer done once Tough Enough starts, we can reconsider. But, neither the brand split nor the show will be in April's update.

The cast will most likely be under a WWE development deal, with a wage of 10k... All WWE DEV deals currently pay between 12-15k and their just competing for a spot. Chances are, the losers that they choose to retain (if any) will be headed to FCW. So, that's about the best I can do within the constraints of the game.

Also, just to put it to bed, FCW won't be it's own promotion. The problem with doing it this way is pretty simple: I only have 35 promotions (34 if you count the open slot) that I can have and, anytime I mention that a slot might be opening up, I get a huge slew of suggestions for new promotions. This thread alone, I believe, had around 20 different promotions suggested for one open slot.

While I'm on promotions, this is pretty mich what I have decided to do, but I won't guarantee it will all be doen by the April update:

Removing the following promotions from the game: Wrestlicious, World League Wrestling, Inter Species Wrestling

Adding the following promotions to the game: NWA Force-1 Pro, Showtime All Star Wrestling

The only thing I can guarantee so far is that Force One will be in (because it is already). The plan is to delete the three I mentioned and then add Showtime. The reason these two were chosen? Simple. Posters gave detailed info about them...

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION TO MAKE LONG POST SUGGESTING NEW PROMOTIONS!!!!!!!!

If all of the above gest done, there will be 33 promotions in. That will leave 2 slots open. But, I will not even begin to discuss the next promotion to be added until I have done ALL OF THE ABOVE! Pending on how much time I have, it might all get done and I don't want a boatload of posts requesting a promotion to be added, when it could be a month or two before I'm even looking to add another. As a matter of fact, I might even make a separate post regarding the next promotion when I'm ready. PLEASE don't request more promotions until I give the green light!

Think that's all I got for now.

-Bill

Can't believe this was overlooked, as its been known since November 21st 2010.... but...

Former WWE, ECW and TNA talent Matt Hyson (Spike Dudley) officially retired from professional wrestling during an Fall River, MA event promoted by Top Rope Promotions. [Credit: Pwinsider.com]

Confirmed on his OWOW profile.

November 20, 2010: Matt "Spike Dudley" Hyson, 40, quietly walked away from pro wrestling earlier this month.. <LI>~~~Providence, RI's Ch. 12 news covered his final match and decision to leave the business.. <LI>~~~Matt Hyson had been wrestling for Top Rope Promotions, a local group for the last few years.

Make him a non-wrestler,I'd say so.

I might just be a Tony Schiavone fanboy here, but, his stats seem a bit low. I know he hasn't announced wrestling in a decade, and wasn't everyone's favorite, but his talent is at 60. I think that's a bit low. He still does sports on two Georgia radio stations, and does baseball games I believe. He should have a higher stats. In comparison, Sean Mooney has higher stats. Even Mongo is 3 points lower than him. Schiavone has a 60, the same as Larry Rivera. WTF? No Way is he on the same level. I suggest maybe a 65 or possible a 68. I think Dean Hill has higher stats as well, which in my opinion is a crime. Most would argue he was fed lines and was pretty much a parrot in repeating them, but if that was the case, then why does Michael Cole have a 75 when he does the same thing? Same goes with Mike Tenay who has a 79 I think. I give Tenay some credit though because at one time (not sure if he still does) he actually studied the sport. Scott Hudson also has higher stats, as does Scott Stanford, Max Bretos, and Johnathon Grisham. I'm just sayin.

While on the subject, I think he also should have a lower pay. His pay is in the range of 45 grand. Most compared to his talent would get at most 23-28 grand (which is still too much).

Christina Crawford is 22 years old

add Golden Boy to WWE and change his name to Luke Robinson. He is on Tough Enough and he is 26 years old

add Matt Cross to WWE

add Sin Cara to the RAW brand

I don't believe the Golden Boy in the data is Luke Robinson, the Golden Boy that in the data wrestled for IWA-PR.

I wouldn't add Sin Cara to the Raw brand until WWE makes it official on TV.. WWE can change their mind in a moment, he is not even listed anymore on the house show line up that cause the suggestion.

Add,if not already in, a dislike or hate relationship between Velvet Sky and Ashley Massaro.

Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro appeared on last night's episode of the online show Highway 2 Helms (hosted by former WWE talent Gregory Shane Helms), during which she took a noteworthy shot at TNA Knockout Velvet Sky.

While Helms was discussing a WWE road story that took place years ago in Corpus Christi, Texas, Jonny Fairplay name dropped Velvet Sky, Helms' former beau. Massaro immediately blurted out, "Fuck that bitch!" She then pretended that she said it by accident before laughing.

The two wrestling starlets have a history of bad blood as Velvet Sky stated during a June 2008 interview that the escort agency allegations surrounding Massaro at the time were "disgusting." She said that people close to Massaro told her that they would not be surprised if the allegations were true.

Probably remove Lince Dorado from Chikara. He seems to be kicked out of the Promotion after two No-Shows at the Weekend. He`s not even on the Roster-List anymore.

Maybe remove Olsen Twins, Helios and Super Smash Brothers as well? They not showed up at the Company this year and even last year they appeared there not very often.

On the whole Tough Enough show discussion from a page or two back just noticed this think it may change things... What do you guys think?

WGN cancels Superstars

The final episode of the show will be on 4/7. More details to come.

The television landscape will be changing that week as that will be the week Tough Enough debuts. ROH on HDNet will air its final episode three days earlier.
