One World has turned into Borneo.  Obvious alliance and everyone else sitting around wondering if there is an alliance... and Tarzan is Sean.

With people saying I'm in the dark age, but Season 25 is pretty good... I have to ask.  Does 25 have a gimmick?  It seems the reason this stretch is bad is because of Redemption Island/One World gimmicks.

Yes it does, but the casting is so spot on in the season. They get some real gems that season. I will spoil it - it does have returnees. But the returnees are not very good "strategically" and it is fun.

Is it the people who who had to leave for medical reasons returning?  Because I've been waiting a long time for Michael to come back (and I know he does at some point).

Yeah, it is. But regardless, its actually a very good season. Also it has 2 famous people on the cast.

I'm guessing Michael and Russell Swan are two of the people returning.  My initial guess for the 3rd was Penner and I really hope its him.  If Colton is one of them I'll have to hope something really terrible happens to him again.  Like I hated Lillian and Twila but Colton is just an absolutely detestable person with no redeeming qualities, Lillian at least gave Johnny Fairplay shit.

I'm trying to think of all the people who were medically evacuated.  Michael, Russell Swann, Penner, James (but he already came back), Papa Smurf, That Chef Mike guy on the same season with Swann, some dude who hurt his knee that I can't remember anything about and now Courtney and Colton from One World.

One World probably has the dumbest cast. I would like to enjoy this season but there is absolutely no draw to it, it doesn't matter who gets voted out since everyone is just trying to get 5th place.

Please tell me One World is the worst season ever?  Because the combination of Colton and Alicia being complete assholes to watching Leif, Tarzan and Christina be the absolute worst strategic players ever is making me wish I was watching Thailand again.

The Kat elimination however was one of the best moments in the show so far (not as good as Edguardo's though).  Talking about how fun and hilarious it will be to see someones reaction when they get blindsided...to immediately get blindsided and cry about it. Especially the last confessional where she is still bawling about how she went out before Kristina and Tarzan.

Oh, don't worry, One World is pretty much the consensus least-popular season. You've basically watched all the ones considered the worst now, though the season after the next one you're gonna watch is fairly divisive.

My random time killer today, my favorite eliminations from season 1-whevereve I am.

1. Edguardo (Fiji) - The combination of Ed and Alex's faces dropping and the grin on Earls face is probably the best thing in this show.

2. Erik (Micronesia) - He gave up immunity and they actually show everyone voting for him and making fun of him

3. Kat (One World) - Says she is excited to see someone get blindsided because it will be hilarious.  She gets blindsided immediately afterwards and cries.

4. Judd (Guatemala) - Saying whoever gets voted out shouldn't have hard feelings, then is super bitter when it turns out to be him.

5. Chicken (China) - Dude barely says a word and yells "DAMN!" when he gets voted out and scares the shit out of everybody

6. Rick (South Pacific) - Coach tries to hug him and he pushes him away like 3 times

7. Randy (Gabon) - Crystal screaming at the camera so everybody can hear her yelling

8. Tyson (Heroes vs Villians) - The look when he realizes he just voted himself out

9. Eliza (Vanuatu) - The death stare to Chris who just waves

10. Greg (Borneo) - The fake crying

The only real highlights of One World were seeing Alicia and Colton get shit on at the reunion and realizing them came off like complete shitbags on the show.  I'm mostly just glad its done.

Philippines.  I was right about the three returns, plus we get a baseball player and an 80's sitcom star.  Michael is going to be the guy I'm cheering for because there is just something about him I really like, except he keeps hurting himself.  The first few episodes have been mostly focused on Matsing because it seems that tribe is not long for this world.  I don't understand Zane's strategy at all.  Three episodes in and its already way better than One World.

Azazel, something you might also enjoy (the coconut thing reminded me of this), Mario Lanza has the Funny 115. The third version is being released right now, but he basically picks his 115 favourite Survivor things. Version 1 is Season 1-11, Version 2 is 12-20, and the third version is 21-present.

Philippines was quite an enjoyable watch! Its the light in the middle of a dark tunnel.
