I have no interest in watching La Liga when the two top is always Barcelona and Real Madrid, and not one other team gets anywhere near the amount of TV money as those two (and by 'anywhere near' I'll take within 50 million Euros which shows how bad the problem is) and a third placed team that finishes closer to relegation than the title and has to basically bankrupt themselves in order to actually stay anywhere near the top two (there is a reason why Villa, Silva, Mata and Torres/Aguero had to leave Valencia and Athletico).

Contrast that to the Premier League which is more competitive than it was 5 years ago, and the 'best league in the world' stuff is actually pretty valid.
