Yeah, that makes him look like way less of a douche, great point.

It shows he had a valid point in wanting Eli out of San Diego because he's had success in New York since while Rivers is still ringless in San Diego. Thus making slightly less douchey.

They were both completely different teams when the draft occurred. Let's not forget, New York was bad enough that year to be picking fourth. He wanted him to go to New York because it's the biggest media market in the country, no other reason. He was a douche then, he's a douche now. Giants had incredible luck winning that Super Bowl, let's not make it out like they were some incredible juggernaught while San Diego struggled to win 2 games a season.

Was it also luck getting there?

How were they lucky to win the SB? Eli outplayed Garcia, Romo, Favre and Brady all away from home that year. It's not like he Flacco'd or Sanchize'd his way to the trophy.

On topic though, you can't blame Archie for stating the obvious. Peyton and Luck on the same team is a bad idea since one of them would have to sit, and Peyton is due big money starting next year. If they go with the mentor route, then they'd be paying a # 1 overall pick to ride the bench until Peyton retired. If they kept Peyton and started Luck, then you have history's most expensive backup QB. Trade Peyton to a team like Miami or let him walk and use the money to stock up on a lot of missing pieces.

Asante dropped a pick he makes 99 times out of 100. and Tyree caught a pass that would've been incomplete 999,999,999 out of a million

alright fine...8 times out of 10. "Impossible" catches have been sen enough times this season. But the point still stands. Tyree caught a pass that, most times, would've been incomplete. He got lucky as hell on that pass

They still would have had time to win the game even without the catch. It's not like they had the refs giving them touchdowns that weren't or calling bogus penalties.

Of all the games to have to miss due to health reasons.

I'd love to be in that locker room after the game.

Ben walking is a great sign. I'm gonna predict a sprained ankle, he'll miss the rest of this game and play against San Francisco on Monday Night.

was reading about how McCoy could be a lot better if they actually had decent receivers.... which they don't. I think the only receiving corps worse than Cleveland is Jacksonville. The Jags have nobody really at all. kinda feel bad for someone like Blaine Gabbert being tossed out there right away with such an awful group of receivers. I don't think any of the Jags WR's would be a #3 on another team.
