Speaking of 80's action shows . . .

I'm probably alone on this one, but I just fucking love hearing Lee Majors sing his own theme song.

To me, this song is second only to The A-Team theme in personifying the "Too Much Testosterone" 80's Action Theme genre.

Not-so-little-known fact: the theme was co-written by Alan Thicke.

I have long harbored a dream of leading a TV theme song cover band. This song would be an automatic inclusion in every set list. Plus, a saccharine Jif commercial!

I could do 80's comedies all damn day long.

Watched a couple ones that other people posted that I hadn't seen yet. Favorite is probably the It's Garry Shandling's Show one, which has been stuck in my head this morning. Looking forward to when I can finally watch it. Lie To Me has a great video too.

It just sets up the premise perfectly and in a very fun way.

Hell, even without the show this Quincy Jones song is ridiculously good. But it does fit the show like a second-hand glove.

Quality is kinda shit here but even though this intro was so memorable that fifteen years later I STILL remember how badass it was.
