We're HOW many posts into this and no one has mentioned this? Shocking.

Now for something completely different.

And speaking of 90's Australian (or was this New Zealandish?) shows...

(Holy shit, the thumbnail happens to land on Lucas from Neighbours! AKA Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryders lesser known brother :shifty: )

And of course

Should be no shock coming from me. It's my absolute favorite, a perfect way to set the tone for the show and it still holds up just fine today.

Also, can't forget this:

I've basically always thought the mid-'90s Marvel cartoons were really overrated, but they did have great opening credits. There was also, of course...

Best touch, and one I never really processed until watching it just now for the first time in years, is that Spidey spends the bulk of the opening dodging and/or getting his ass kicked by villains. That's just so perfect for the kind of superhero he is.

Here's a couple of my initial contributions. Let's start with the more obscure stuff.

Underrated show, and therefore an all-but-forgotten theme, but it's one of the catchiest damn things I've heard. Trivia: It's called "The Skrewy St. Louis Blues" and is performed by David Cassidy.

Another underrated show, and the concept was simple but brilliant: Gary knows he's on a sitcom. That's basically it. The theme song just follows that lead.

'60s edition!

An absolute classic. The pratfall over the ottoman is one of the best opening credits gags ever, as is the fact that subsequent versions of the opening titles played with that expectation that he was going to do the fall

More for the theme than the visual, though there's something truly great about how abstract it is.
