Series 7 is pretty damn fun for what it is. It's on Netflix Instant, or was when I watched it, for anyone who hasn't seen it.

And I definitely wouldn't say Battle Royale is mainstream in America. I'd say the vast majority of people don't know what it is.

I also have a very groovy Japanese movie called Tokyo 10+01. It's an homage to Battle Royale. A bit rubbish and bonkers but loads of fun.

Fake (the guy with the hat and the party blower thing) is great. I had him as an avatar on here for a while.

Oh and in happy news my REALLY REALLY good artist friend is going to do the art for my long-time-in-development Battle Royale card game! Get in. Of course it's not Battle Royale but an homage. Mmmm homage.

So here's something I don't understand...why is Chigusa the only person in the film (bar Kazuo/Shogo) to randomly have a different outfit on then the rest of them? It always really bugs for me for some reason.

Cos she's the sporty one innit. Probably because she's a member of a sports team and in Japan you see those kids going to and from school in their school tracksuits when they have PE that day. It's probably the school's sports tracksuit.
