They just said on the radio that according to Jay Glazer the Jets traded a forth round pick for Tebow

It's also said Greg Williams was suspended indefinitely

Okay, fuck that. Belichick cheats for years and gets a fine and loses a first round pick. Peyton employs someone who runs a bounty program and gets suspended for a year.

Per cbssports.com

The NFL suspends Saints coach Sean Payton for one year without pay, former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams indefinitely and the team is fined $500,000 for their roles in a bounty program.

Now THAT is a punishment.

EDIT: ESPN says that the Saints also will lose TWO 2nd round picks. That's a straight up ass whoopin' from Goodell.

Peytons suspension is probably more fit knowing about it and doing nothing to stop it. He indirectly supported the bounty in the face of the leagues emphasis on playersafety. The league would've looked bad by gong easy on him

And Bill Belichick planned and organized spying on other teams. How is what Payton did worse than that?

And Meacon, that is what you get for forsaking the godchild!

He oversaw a coach that was literally giving his players money to try and end the careers of fellow players.

All the Pats did was videotape some signals. It wasn't like they stole playbooks, or bugged phones.

What the Saints and Gregg Williams did was way worse. And the NFL had to do something to make sure it never happens again.

Coaches clearly need a union, if you're a player you can kill someone without getting suspended indefinitely.

You know that Goodell is going to come down harder on someone who defies him regardless of the severity of the infraction. The fact that the league kept telling them not to do it, meant they had to drop the atomic bomb on the Saints. I don't feel bad for them and no one else should either.

Speaking of explosive situations, I can't WAIT for the first Tebow chants after Sanchize bounces a few passes to cost the Jets their first game of the season.

Shady Brady and Bill Belicheat have lost 2 Super Bowls to Eli Manning ever since Spygate broke, what could be worse than that for them?

I love that the Jets think the chaos in their lockerroom is going to go away by bringing in Tebow. Once Sanchez plays like Sanchez, not only the fans, but players, will start calling for the Mile-High Miracle Man to work his magic. I wish him the best of luck, but damn it, I can't stand the Jets.

Because spying in other teams isn't the PR nightmare for the league like paying your players to injure other players is.

And yes..the fact that the Saints were told one to stop the bounty system asked they purposely defied league orders. That if what probably brought the wrath of Godell down on them

This from the James Harrison fan.

Did you not hear pretty much every ex player, now analyst come out and say "Yeah, we had something like that going on when we were playing"
