So the trailer came out 2 days ago. I think it looks pretty good. Thoughts?

My initial thoughts to that trailer was that there's a hell of a lot of London in it, I didn't know the Joker was in the Bond cannon and no one should be allowed to remix the Bond theme like that.

Well the film company are a bit skint at the moment so it's easier to film around London than go to too many exotic locations.

Such a good chance to do a closer (updated) adaptation of Moonraker. That would have been cheap.

Supposedly about a third of the budget came from product placement, which explains the Heineken. Maybe he just fancies a beer every so often.

It looks and sounds like the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. It also seems that the typical James Bond japes and jokes have been done away with. There's far too little on show to come to any conclusion right now. It could be good.

The casting of both Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes automatically made me excited for this. The trailer was nice (at the very least it looks like the cinematography will be great) but Its just a teaser so it's not like we know if the story will be good or not yet.

This is gonna be great. The pedigree is just there. Despite MGM's financial troubles, they've secured Daniel Craig to come back, as well as Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes, AND it's being directed by Sam Mendes, who is phenomenal. I can't wait.
