That team at least had Peter Schmeichel and Brian Laudrup, what does this team have? only one real striker, who scored more off the pitch than on it the past season (Bendtner), a young surefire talent from the Eredivisie with a recent form slump (Eriksen) and a defence where only Daniel Agger is really doing well. Lets not forget that the coach rather sees Stephan Andersen from Evian in goal than Anders Lindegaard from Man U.

Mix that up with the one of the worst possible group draws, a coach who plays hedgehog football (defending 1-0 leads and so on)

And of course the lack of alternatives to players who shouldnt be there (Christian Poulsen) or haven't performed well enough, case in point Bendtner who looked anything than the player he brags about being against Australia recently.

I would love nothing more, than to be proven wrong by the national side. But i think it looks more like Euro 2000 or Euro 1996, than it looks like Euro 2004 or Euro 1992.

I do not hate my country, so that you can take back. But i do not like what im seeing of the national side, and havent done so for the past 6 years
