Gordon Strachan is expected to stay on as Scotland manager, BBC Sport has learned.

Elsewhere, Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has said he is committed to the club and that there is "no possibility" of him becoming the Netherlands' next manager.

Strachan got lots of shit for for not qualifying or making progress but what do you expect,  it's Scotland. I think he does a really good job, there might not be much skill in the team (we're like Wales without a quality player like Ramsey, or to a lesser extent, Bale) but he's got a spirit back into the team. I'd want him to stay on.

Bosnia were my 2nd choice after Hungary and given that the 2nd leg is in Dublin, I can't really complain. 

We've never played them before so it should be fun either way!

Still sad that we don't go to France. I had plans figured out to drive there and be drunk and celebrate Dutch football. But no Blind and Hiddink had to screw us over.

They beat us at home and drew with us away, they looked pretty happy then!

What made it even better that Strachan had a moan about finishing below us and Poland despite being undefeated against the two of us. Showing a clear lack of understanding of how teams with more points finish higher.

Yeah, they were good at the start. But the second game against Ireland was where it went wrong for me. A draw against Ireland is an okay result but I remember Scotland being really outplayed in that game.

Scotland messed up against Georgia and against Poland in the last couple of games. They could have qualified for the playoffs at least. Decent team, can fight for a WC playoff spot.

Hungary beat Norway in the first playoff game. Ireland/Bosnia first leg is tonight.

Finished 1-1 in a foggy Bosnian affair. Decent result for Ireland to take back to Dublin.

Fantastic result but I can't help but being a little disappointed in conceding after taking the lead so late in the game.

Huge game on Monday now, hopefully we can frustrate them and grind out the result!

The fog was so bad tonight that I actually didn't see the goal, you could just make out that we had possession near the box. On the Irish coverage there was a 10 seconds of confusion followed by 'we scored?' as the players sprinted out of the fog. Was a pretty cool moment and there was this quality photo too.
