I've avoided this thread (still not looking above) as I'm watching the semis on delay through iplayer. The second semi is very, very strong.

Russia, Estonia and Georgia were very strong in the first semi but, with the results about to come through for me on the second semi, I've got seven I want to see through.

Latvia's song is magnificent. Lithuania's is like Of Monsters and Men and I love that too. Ireland and Malta's are good. Sweden's is very well orchestrated. Iceland and Norway's are great. Definitely should have half a dozen to vote for tonight.

Israel, Montenegro and Azerbaijan making the final remind me that much of Europe's taste is very different to my own.

Any outside betting tips? I missed most of the semis so don't have any favourites to pull for.

I've backed Estonia 20/1 E/W and Australia 9/1 E/W. The first couple seem to be set in stone and are no value (think it was Sweden and Italy).

I think my personal favourites are:

12 points: Latvia

10 points: Lithuania

8 points: Georgia

7 points: Russia

6 points: Estonia

In an interview during the second semi the Georgian woman said that Latvia was her favourite and that it sounded like FKA Twigs....Which is what my mate had said. That's a good thing. Maybe "too good" though.
